I drew this page in very poor lighting in my summer dwelling (a cabin/beach house surrounded by trees and furnished with dim lamps :P ). I managed, but it took a while, especially the "scene setting" in panel 1.

Mike is definitely a favorite drawing subject for me. He's one of the most emotional characters, and he shows it with his whole body. (Much like Fudo in that respect, except Fudo is more apt to go "furious" than "panicky.) Basically, the boy can't hide his feelings from anyone who pays the least bit of attention.
