If you are going to recolour sprites, don't do one big block of colour! Replace each pixel with the right shade of your chosen colour... It's to easy!
Get backgrounds. Don't just have on GIANT panel.
I don't understand were this plot is going. Slow down so others may know whats going on.
Get proper bubbles. It appears your tried and failed this time.
Make a big enough white square to fit all your text. Then go around the bubble in black (when you get backgrounds) and add a tail. And when I say around I mean on the edge on the white square.
Slow down MORE. Last time was 'An epic battle'. Now its a random steel platform, a Knuckles knock-off, and the Death Egg.
