Halloween '09

Happy halloween.
You guys know the drill, Try to guess who's in what costume.
And maybe you'll get a reward if you get them all. So far its
3-0 in my favor.
I'm being downright tricky with a few of them.

Would have gotten this one done sooner today but a bit of writers block prevented me from thinking up decent costumes until the last minute. So I apologise if you can't get any because I sprited them badly.

Hopefully I'll get the next comic done soon.

Dodge/Grapple Man's Stage: Going Up

Introducing Clip Woman. How long will it take for Tornado man to regain his eyesight after taking a bomb to the face? Is Murphy's Law toying with Mega man or just in a good mood? Does Murphy's Law even apply in the Timebreakers universe?

Why do these seem to take so freaking long to make. I'd really like to update at least every other day instead of once a month.
I've already begun the next comic... So it should be sometime this month... I hope.
I'm actually introducing Clip Woman two story arcs earlier than I originally planned, but this way allows me to explain a few things better. I also changed Bubble Man's kidding around line. The original seemed a bit too charming for Bubble Man. So I'm saving that one for a more suitible RM.

Dodge/Grapple man's Stage: Berserk CannonPult

Tornado Man may have defeated part of this sub boss, but not all. WHile megaman has found a strange flaw in the Matrix Joe's programming.

I've no excuse for how long this took. I changed the format of the text boxes though.

Actually... The major reason for the delay was that the bottom panels were supposed to have a different content, but the sprites where taking too long to make.

In other news... Well I didn't win this years Best sprite comic award. But hey, So far no other sprite comic has managed to be nominated for this award in two different years, so I'll be back next year for sure. And hey, a sprite comic made it into the featured section finally... A small victory for the sprite comics.

Truthfully I had hoped that a groundbreaking, discrimination shattering masterpiece powerhouse of a sprite comic would be the first featured. Looks like we have more work to do yet, guys.

Dodge/Grapple Man's Stage: CannonPult

Bubbleman has a strange bubbling laugh. And for the record, that was no accident.

Ug... Dive is hard to write for. I'm really not sure how to give him a nautical accent (Like a sailor) without making him sound like a pirate. Not sure how well those last few frames came out, I hope its clear the bucket fell on Dive man's head and not spontaneously teleported there.
I've already started some of the next comic so it should be soon.

Dodge/Grapple man's Stage: Adaptor switch.

For the record... Bass had a very good chance of winning if he didn't try to cheat.

First off... See, faster comic production now. Would have been even faster without a few distractions. I'm really liking the new format. Although in some cases it doesn't work as well.

Not sure how long the next one will take to make however, I'm almost spent on ideas for the bonus panels on the bottom, and some of the ideas I do have I can't use quite yet. I'd show more of the napalm dad miniplot, but I lack decent reference on what Napalm man's battle and chase vehical looks like.

In other news, Timebreakers is Drunk duck duck awards 2009 finalist. Looks like the competition is pretty tough this year, like it was two years ago (I think). I happen to read two of the competitors, and another one looks like a lot of work was put into it. The underdog has a chance to win as well, if the full scratch factor bumps it up enough. (That was one of the deciding factors last year, I would know, I was one of the judges)
