Happenings

Well... maybe this isn't so ambiguous... but really I don't know. If anyone knows what the hell is going on, feel free to say so. It'd be nice to know if I'm doing something right or not. (^^;)

And so I missed my goal for Thursday by a couple of days. I'm extremely miffed, but I'll still cling to my story of schoolwork. It's true, after all. That makes for a pretty good excuse. Depending on what goes on, I might have another comic this week... maybe... I doubt it, but maybe. And sorry again for the poor image quality... my scanner just butchers all of my shading and the like. Alas, it cannot be helped.

...and there're some voting buttons down there, if you're feeling exceedingly generous. Yes, you. You know what to do.

Cross-species collision

Okay, so I crapped out when it came time to draw the middle panel. I wanted to get this up today so I'd be at least somehwat regular again. I'm still sorry to my two readers for being so slow and inconsistent. Blame Sir Isaac Newton and his damned invention physics... All that class does is make me depressed and stressed out. One could even argue that that class is physically and mentally unhealthy for me. But I won't bitch here.

So we have a new character and we finally heard the name of miss bloody-wings! Yay! And I'll even fracking (hehe, I'm so lame using Battlestar Galactica invented cusswords) explain something, some answer "why" in my next update. Await it eagerly. And vote now, if you feel so inclined.

Blood and rent wings

Well.. it's been a while. Life is stable again for the moment, and hopefully I can go back to updating once or twice a week. I know this comic doesn't have much, but the one I was originally going to put here didn't really fit as well as I would've liked--there needed to be something in between. And so here's this. As the title suggests, she's torn off her wings. Pretend there's bloody bandaging beneath the shirt at her feet. And for anyone who cares, the next page is already underway. I actually might be halfway done with the art on that one. Dunno. Comment and/or vote if you're feeling generous!

White Mourning and Curling Smoke

Well, let's just toss out all semblance of regularity, shall we? I'm trying hard to do this (I've completely thrown aside writing, my passion), but with school work and outside classes like driving school (*dies... multiple times*) and whatnot, I just can't put out three and oftentimes even two comics a week. Definately not on Mondays, strangely enough. SO... try to look for updates on Wednesday, Friday, or both. And when life calms down and I can draw faster, we'll see what can be done to make this more regular. Anyway, we're now out of the prelude (which, for the record, takes place AFTER the prologue and the bulk of the story, hence my wierd little guidance trees beneath the comic that start with the "future" and go to "flashback", since the story is told in flashback) and the prologue, which is the beginning of this overly-long flashback sequence. This rather jumpy, I know, but that's the point. Things will start to go in a more cohesive/coherent/consecutive (I'm pretty sure those words work here... yay for alliteration!!!!) order pretty soon, and eventually people will find out what the hell is going on in these first seven pages. But enough rambling... (I think when I'm typing any sort of message, this last phrase becomes my catchphrase.)

Comment/rate if you're feeling nice, and vote if you're feeling extremely generous. If you happen to want to be worshipped, go down to the bottom and click on those voting buttons every day. I *WILL* build you a shrine. *nods*

Prologue, Mortie's Kwik Stop: The River Lethe

End Prologue
--
Wow, I actually pulled off two updates this week... And I'm still sorry for the lame filler on Monday. I took it down, so there are just story comics to read, and the crappy little intro image. But anyway, we've reached the end of the prologue, and now we move into the bulk of the story, quite a bit of which will be flashback... If you're confused, it's okay. My wierd artwork combined with a rather profound inability to draw well would do that... and, of course, there's the fact that, aside from a few little hints, we know nothing about these characters. So.. thanks for reading this, if you are, and please half half a grain of hope or faith and stick with me. I'll try my hardest to improve. Voting buttons down there at the bottom. Feeling really generous? You know what to do.
