The eyes, they buuuuuurn. The second panel redeems the page slightly, but is too small.

And, yes, the last page was when the story deviated... not that I dislike the centaur, but he is so-ah the burn! Can't draw him right! I did say I don't draw horses well, didn't I?

Thankfully this doesn't last.

Thank you for the encouragement...

heh, actually Midge, I never intended for this to even approach painting. I just use a regular size-sensitive circular brush at different opacities for shade/highlights.

ah, and although I can't draw them consistently I like 3/4 profile view myself, Amanda. Full profile 2nd best. Front is just blah.

DE 16

EXTRA UPDATE Monday-the slowness is agonizing.

On the one hand, I'm pleased you guys nailed it on the last page- that is a water stream. On the other hand, you weren't sure. I shall improve my water skills someday!

Also, thanks for liking the unicorn. I'm generally pretty awful at horse-things (mostly due to rarely drawing or referencing them, my fault) You'll get to see plenty of horsishness these pages.

DE 15

Aside from the first panel, it's the dream.

I'd forgotten how long this coloring takes me... phew. I hope you'll still like it by the time I'm done Amanda, Avie.

Midge: Everything, to a certain extent is the product of my imagination. Even stories (such as the following one) with no unnatural elements have a fair deal of my imagination. Those heavily based an real life events have changes in characters' appearance, personality, number, etc. Otherwise this would be too much like a journal, which I have strictly avoided keeping for a good decade now.

With that said, I looked long and hard for the real life element in this arc, and, well, it is very small.

Dream End

I think I will update Thursdays.

This story is primarily a coloring excuse, and secondarily a story. I didn't mean for it to become the strange thing it has-but that's a dream for you.
