Atlas sinks!

I just realized I really should have added another page here by now. Sorry about that. Of course, you can always keep up on the latest pages and goings-on at the main site. You can also hear more blather about what's going on in the comic.

Something big's about to go down... (both in the comic and on the site itself)

I have no idea why it took me this long to update my mirror. Well, I have sort of an idea, but anyway... Sorry!! I've been trying to buffer up the main site with regular pages (substantial and non-spreads) since then...slowly. :( Pages 6 and 7 took me an inordinately long time to finish, but we're moving along. At least I broke my standard of pages-per-year for the last 3 years! (2007 = 4 pages, 2008 = 4 pages... we're at 7 this year! Woo!)

*facepalm*

Thanks for reading. :D The home site recently surpassed 200,000 hits. There are also 25,000+ hits here. Woo!!

Guess who didn't know a single click could delete a page here. x_x I'm an idiot, lol. But I wanted to knooow. Yes, that is much faster than deleting pages on Smackjeeves. (I'm not deleting the old pages here, but I am there.)

Thanks to everyone who commented on this page before... and feel free to comment again. Sorry.

---

With this page, which was literally like a year in the making, I discovered the joys of painting backgrounds in a nice, non-spazzy program like PaintTool Sai. Not only is it faster and easier, it's just...BETTER. And so, Millennium's color future looks even brighter!

Anyway, I don't know if I can expound on what just happened any further, unless you just go to the main site and read up on world info. This is how everyone got the ability to control elements - in this page's case, Fire. It'll all make a bit more sense in a few pages.

I kinda left something out of this page and I need to fix it still, lol.

Whoa, so it's an update.
I decided backgrounds will be more stylized. I don't really want or need to do realistic ones, unless it's a close-up shot. Ohhh, I can't wait until I'm into the main story again.

Looots of red, but you'll see a contrast on the next page. Which is already 50% done, wowies!

It would be so nice if you joined my forum ( http://www.senshuu/com/forums/ ) or my oekaki ( http://www.senshuu/com/oekaki/ ). I want YOU!

My birthday's Friday. I have nooo idea what to do.

Before we change scenes, we find a mysterious tribe has turned animal as they visit their temple! The perspective in that panel is still very off, and I know why, but it's stylish at least.
Exactly one thousand years later, we find a volcano, normally dormant, about to erupt! These very detailed prologue pages are a great way for me to experiment with color, as seen here.
