And, you'd think that, having more time on my hands, I'd actually have MORE updates. Though to my credit, I do need to get accustomed to the whole thing...

Omegatau: Yes, now you understand: you're not reading the comic, the comic's reading YOU.

Gray Seraphim and DJLink: Thanks! Definitely a chance to get a fresh start on my life.

theBSDude: Oh, that's easy to explain. See, the guys with the clothes are doing the things, and stuff is going to happen because of it. Elementary storytelling, really.

Psst... don't tell anyone, but... I just lost my job. And I know I should be angry and all that, what with the stinky economy and the fact that the reason for my firing was complete and total bull, but truth be told, I saw it coming - my former workplace was basically the most miserable job I've had yet, and I've been at it for FAR too long. Almost eight years too long, really, so it's time to actually find something out there that's right for me.

So then... lots of guesses on the costumes, lots of right answers and a few, sorry to say, that were a little off. I intentionally avoided pointing out who everyone was, just because I thought it'd be fun to encourage a bit of audience participation. But, now that Halloween's over, the big reveal:

Bast as the Homestar Runner. theBSDude, oddly enough, ws the only one to get that one...

Tenkyo as Xena, Warrior Princess. DJLink caught that one, but seems to have missed that...

Telloh is Cortana.. theBSDude, again, got the reference.

Deedee dressed up as Guu. Honestly, I was a little surprised that ANYONE would get this semi-obscure reference, but Gray Seraphim nailed it.

nekodragon was the first to realize that Tellori dressed up as Marvin the Paranoid Android. (I always thought he was depressed as opposed to paranoid... shows what I know.)

And finally, I'm kinda surprised nobody got this one as DiGi Charat was pretty popular for a time, but... Bebe is Piyoko.

Grats to everyone who guessed right. If I had a cash flow still, I'd give out prizes. And hope you guys all had a merry Hallow's Eve.

Punkin-Pink!

Totally meant to have an update yesterday, but there's just been so much going on lately I really haven't had the time, from BOTH of my folks having a birthday two days apart from eachother to finally getting the chance to hang out with a friend I haven't seen in a while. Anyway here's a Halloween filler.

Zaffa: It was also expensive. After they got done building, they could barely afford a decent perspective.

I Am the 1337 Master: Well thanks for checking it out!

DracheLehre: They certainly don't resemble Bast at all.

theBSDude: A picture says a thousand words, as they say...

DJLink: When I say so's when. :P

JustNoPoint: Yup. My eyes hurt.

Just popping in real quick-like. It's my mum's birthday today, so I've gotta jet.

JustNoPoint: Actually, the way I do it is I'll pencil in the speech bubbles, and then draw unimportant details beneath it. Unfortunately, sometimes my text sizing is a bit off. Maybe I should write it in a bit larger...

Omegatau: This are the last four of 249. The first egg was really, really big.

DJLink: Glad to hear!

Punk-Pink Plague! Cover

DracheLehre: I dunno... she'd get all the waffles she'd ever want.

JustNoPoint: Cool! Did candy ever pop out of their heads?

mfc: Yeah, speech bubbles are unfortunately a crapshoot - it seems like sometimes they're either too small for the words, or they're too big and eat up a lot of the panel's real estate. I'm still trying to figure out how to really make them work for me.

Omegatau: Whoah, now. Rail cannons are just overkill.

DJLink: More like a possessed doll, but you get the point.

Gray Seraphim: I can only imagine. So... twenty pages dedicated to the astronauts eating space Playdoh, I'm guessing?
