Parting is such sweet sorrow....

I've tried to explain myself as best I can in this latest page. Please, those of you who wish to continue reading the series, you know where to find me.
Well-wishes would be welcomed. I am truly leaving here because of sagging ratings, and that is a dark and lonely feeling indeed. Please feel free to come visit me at http://houseofthemuses.com/graphicnovel/?p=414

Love is in the air....

This is the first draft of this image. Dika and Niobe are in the marketplace at Mytilene. Notice Dika's wearing the same dress she wore in her fever dream during House of the Muses #3...
Niobe has been captivated by a smile. :)

Repercussions

In modern lesbian fiction, the modern lesbian protagonist jumps from bed to bed to bed, with no thought of who she's with, no thought of who she hurts, and no one really seems to care.

Flying utterly in the face of modern lesbian fiction, there will be some consequences to face, and Timas isn't about to let Dika off that easily.

Final cover for House of the Muses #6

Got the final artwork from Carlisle a few days ago--and here is the guest cover for House of the Muses #6.

The storyline for HotM #6 delves into the distant past (yes, further back than the 6th century BC where our current storyline is taking place), and to the origins of Dika's night terrors.

The early storyline takes place in the city of Tiryns before its conquest and fall...for those pages I'll be taking up my pencils again. It will be back to 3D for the current storyline, as Dika's father returns to approach her with an unexpected surprise gift...her departed brother's sword.

Late that night Dika is still looking at the wrapped sword. She knows that it holds the key to the prophecy that has plagued her all her life. She wants to pull it from its sheath and let it tell her its secrets, but she is afraid.

She remembers full well what happened the LAST time she laid her hands upon her brother’s sword....
