Brushes for you!

Is it a shameless attempt at getting traffic to my DA page? Maybe, but it should be a useful link for some.

Also, I lost my hosting plan as well as the images for my brushed metal template, so I had to switch to this generic one. It's well designed though.

Sheading hair for dummies (By Milknut)

Ok, class, any suggestions you may have you can send to me, as well as questions or comments. I think this page is pretty self explanitory. I plan on doing more tutorials if gigatwo wants me to.

Until then, play safe, don't do drugs, and always wear a condom.

Coloring Your Lineart With Flats (page 8)

The finished result:

Extra tips:
-Name your layers
-Color the different parts from bottom to top (skin, whites of the eyes, iris, hair)
-For easy editing, save the file as an xcf to preserve the layers
-Do not use pure white or pure black colors (execpt for the lineart or the glare on the eye)

I'm sorry for the long time in between this page and the previous one. I was feeling lazy. I actually had the screenshots done before I had started the speech bubble tutorial. Hopefully I'll at least have less than a week in between the next pages.

Once again, my offer still stands. If you also use the GIMP and wish to make a tutorial for this book, I will upload it for you and give you full credit. Just make sure the image size per page is 600 by 800. Also, if you are using a different program such as PS or PSP, but wish to share a trick I will (If I can) convert it into a GIMP tutorial. You will also recieve full credit for the idea.
