Artist Introduction: Elaine

Lemniskate (05-27-2009):
Elaine, however, is still on board.

Current recruiting thread.

Veritas (04-09-2008):
I wanted to get Elaine's permission before I posted this, which was the reason why I've waited so long today to update. However, I've yet to see her online, so I'll just post it, and, if need be, take it down later.

Do you see how the art is uncolored? Well, we need you to color it for us! The project's goal is to team up each artists with a colorer, and work together to create an amazing graphic novel! For this to happen, we need you.
We're always looking for artists, and we're always looking for colorers. If you're a word balloonist, you can talk to me, and we'll see if you can team up with one of the artists to make a really unique team!

It's good to have Elaine on board. She's a writer of short stories and novels, and very vivid with her words. Maybe I can learn something for her!

If you're willing to join us in this amazing project, you can always contact me or email me at media12inc@gmail.com. Also, look at our info thread here.

Until next time!

The Jacks

Lemniskate (05-27-2009):
*That's Peter's curse. Alliterating "p"s. Me not being a native speaker of English. Thesaurus is my friend.

Veritas (04-08-2008):
Here's a comparison of all three Jacks for you guys. Today.

Frankly, I don't have much to say right now, which is a shocker. However, I must persist to persuade you persons to participate in this project so prevailing is imperative*. Err... I mean, we still need more artists and colorers to join us! Currently, we have three artists, and no colorers, so the colorers are what we've been pushing for, but to no avail.

This is the last sample artwork I have right now. Let's see what I can pull up tomorrow? :)

Character Info: Jack

Lemniskate (05-27-2009):
Well, not entirely for entertainment purposes. And boxed only for 1000 years.
And those other minor characters: they were never again mentioned, so I had to develop some. And design them. That was fun, too. Prepare for Venter Ascaules. Vir Pistor. Ali Quantus. Anastasia Vumur. Eric "Steelcruncher".

Litindirs pages became obsolote, btw. Long before I took over writing. The background grew very fast. And I never saw the script for those pages, actually...

Current recruiting thread.

Veritas (04-07-2008):
Well, here's the moment I've been waiting for: the introduction of Jack before Pandora's Box. I found out as this project went on that my favorite characters were the ones that Litindir had a problem envisioning, even though he liked them, too! Jack here is no exception. The key phrase we could use to describe him is "the point of maturity is to know when to be immature", which is actually a life motto I have.

Well, I believe that's all the characters of the Graphic Novel! There will be a few more, but seeing how they are insignificant to the story as a whole, I didn't ask Lit to draw them.

Speaking of Lit, he's currently drawing the first five pages of the graphic novel at this very moment, and I'm writing Lemniskate's pages as I type. This ball is rolling, and if you want to be a part of something amazing, contact me. We'd really love to see more participating.

attention all colorers: We need you! We currently have three great artists, but no colorers to aide us. We need you guys to come in and help with us. It'd be worth your while to be part of this Graphic Novel, I promise!

Lastly, the URL for the thread can be found here: http://www.drunkduck.com/community/view_topic.php?tid=41063&cid=236. Take a look, you'll like what you'll see.

Artist's sketches: Lemniskate

Lemniskate (05-27-2009):
Yup. Those were fun.

Current recruiting thread.

Veritas (04-06-2008):
This one's hot off the presses for you all, straight from Lem, the second out of (currently) three artists we have for the project.

With the appearance of Elaine Hills, the newest artist, there has been discussion as to the art and mood direction of the comic. This is an example of how the art direction may change from scene to scene, depending how the story goes. IE: when a darker theme is introduced, the mood depicted from the art will be significantly shown. This was a voluntary decision from Lem, and any artists who is willing to follow that same path is willing, but not limited, to do so!

Guess what? We need Colorers! We have three artists right now, so having three colorers would be great. However, at the moment, we need at least one to get going, seeing how I'm already writing the script for the artists.

So if you are interested in joining, contact me or visit: http://www.drunkduck.com/community/view_topic.php?tid=41063&cid=236
