Gossip

Feathered hair, FUCKTHEWORLD.

Oh crap! I just realized that Thundercats does not exist yet! XD That's a total go figure... I drew a really detailed panel from this part before hand, so I went back to check what Gabriel was wearing. I could make out that he was wearing some dweeby plaid pants and a plain t, but his chest was blocked so there was no way to tell what kind of T-shirt it was, so I improvised and threw in a Thundercats logo. I can fix it on the other pages, and I think the logo is obscured enough on this page for it to not matter. Still, that's a huge DAAAANG! on my part...

Also, I forgot to finish Michael's left arm. I can fix that... (edit, fixed) Why are those awful plastic school chairs in Heaven? What was I thinking?

Ch:16

What can I say? I was excited about the tutorial that Megan Rose Gedris put up. Photo taken by me, of my face, with my lipstick. I really enjoy the years 1977&78 -where at least the beginning of this takes place. This part is fast paced, but regardless I'm not sure if it will take up the entire issue or not. Also regardless there is a lot of ...-ahem- mouth to mouthing [gasp!] in that issue. After all you've endured with this story, that must just be SCANDALOU~S!- BREAKING off tangent, I like 77&78 because of the neat transition that is occurring in the rock music scene in the dwindling from the punk era to the post-punk era. I feel it's kind of rare to see such a strong transition, though it makes so much sense why it happened. Anyhow, I'm rambling. I like to talk about this bit of music history a lot... 9v9

...that I'm in love with you.

Back in the day when I read real books in stead of comics, I could never get my head around how authors could put off things like love confessions for so so so so so long. I mean, it meant so much more when they put it off, I'd tell my self I didn't like the teasing but it really was what made it worth it. And on the other side of the spectrum, I'd hate it when writers rushed into things. So I appreciated why it was a wise literary decision, I just could not comprehend how a writer could stand as much as the reader to put all that romantic business on hold, especially when they have all the power. But like, having done the same now by writing this, 360ish pages in... I didn't feel impatient at all. In my mind it's strictly illogical that anything would come out sooner. If I don't at least understand why certain characters make certain decisions -which I do for the most part- it's at least makes sense why they would make an action to me. It was rare for me while I was writing this to think, "Wow, that was out of character," but even then it would still make sense. So I guess I like.. get it now.

Also, I blatantly quoted "Just Like Heaven" on this page and the previous. I fucking told you. It's karaoke time.

I have no idea if this page is unexpected. I would think what will me cluing you in and all and my expectations of the general public's knowledge of popular 80s music that it should have been completely predictable. But I have no way of knowing that for sure. Aaaanyhow, if you by chance did find this surprising, JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE TO-MORROWS PAGE. I can't wait to see your reactions.

(edit)And no cheating on the poll now. I'm trying to brew up a new question... X:

Why won't you ever know...?

If it sounds familiar, that's because it really is. I declare this page as KARAOKE TIEM. (ftw.)
Because of that, I think the next page is completely predictable. In a sudden and satisfying kind of way. The page afterward however I feel is unpredictable. Which means it is especially important that these three pages are read in the correct order. Consequentially I'm skipping out on double update friday to-day. The next page will be posted on Monday, and the last page of this issue and this arc will arrive on Tuesday.
