David Icke on the Global Awakening

David Icke is one of the influences of this comic. Listen to him.

@XM0stLyGhOstLyX, Twitch McGee - Slapshock = best band ever. : ) I see them becoming an even bigger success. If you look at their website, they're busy as hell. That means alot of money for them. I wanna see them do a theme song for Naruto (they did a song for Ragnarok online... its called "without you").

@Peipei - I find it difficult in the front view. But other camera angles, guns are quite easy to draw. All it takes is the ability to visualize things in 3-D before you draw them.

@Bruenor300, Jonko - thanks for sharing your experiences with bullies.

@trevoramueller - thanks for commenting.

@Warpedwenger - lol we're the same. In my case though, its not like I have no idea how to interact with people, I'm more like an observer. For the most part, I stay quiet in a group discussion and just listen (but if I really feel compelled to say something I just blurt it out and sometimes I end up being the center of attention).
I'm used to it. I love listening to radio shows regardless if I agree or disagree with the radio host. I just listen but can't really get through due to the high number of callers. : (

@SarahN - depends where you live. If you were to ask me, I prefer living in a state like New Hampshire. For the meantime, I'm stuck in Canada. : )

Notes on Page
-----------------

Its actually more difficult to draw the pose of someone who doesn't know how to hold a gun. The 1st panel is also wrong because the shot should have had a recoil effect. I suck at physics. :)

Another possible themesong for this comic:
SLAPSHOCK - CANT STOP US NOW
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-WLAv-KuRw

I don't know why but they're just so addictive to listen to.

I'm no music expert but I notice the following about their songs.
- variation of tempo in one song.
- they're not just about "heavy stuff". They love mixing the singable rock with the screaming animal type. As well as other genres like rap... and even music that sounds like church choir.

If MAG-ISA were a movie, Slapshock would definitely be the one to do the themesong.

@Jonko - So how did that feel? Were you beaten up as well?

@Warpedwenger - yes. I feel like an outsider. But its not that it bothers me and makes me sit in a corner and shed gallons of tears. I'm the type of person who looks at the world from outside-in. I feel this general sense of detachment to this world but at the same time I have this concern and motivation to do my part in making the world a better place.

@trevoramueller, LanceDanger - thanks for commenting.

@ghostrunner - thanks. Glad you liked Slapshock. Yeah. Hammerhead sounds like a good themesong. I also like Offspring. IMO, their "Americana" album was their best one.

Rant of the Day

I really like the newest single of Slapshock:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q021grFmB4s
CARINO BRUTAL!!! HUUUUUUYYYYY!!!!

This song can easily be a theme song for this comic. I guess I'd make a MAG-ISA AMV (anime-music-video) of that song one of these days... when I miraculously find time to squeeze between my busy schedule.

I knew it all along. Even back in 1999, when Slapshock was just another band in the Philippines. I knew it that they'd end up as a really big success. They won't be going through all that trouble touring Canada and USA if there's no demand for them in those areas. Because they normally tour around the Philippines and nearby Asian countries.

I knew they'd be a big success because 90% of their songs ended up sticking to my head. They're THE WORLD's NUMBER 1 BAND for me. (next would probably be Pop Shuvit followed by Megadeth or Rage Against The Machine)

Slapshock is one of my inspirations. I listen to their music when I do this comic.

MORE POWER TO THE SLAP ARMIES!!! CARINO BRUTAL!!! HUUUUYYY!!!

lmao!

@Aurora Moon - I haven't watched it yet. Since you mentioned it, I'll try to watch it. You see, I barely watch/read fiction these days. I'm more of a non-fiction person.

@ghostrunner - Some of em are healthy for you.

@SarahN - I didn't really have much bad experiences with teachers before.

@Burnerblaze - you know... you're not the first one who said they can relate to my characters.

@trevoramueller - thanks for commenting.

@LanceDanger - you made a good choice, sir. :)

thorgodofrpgs - is that a good school?

@Warpedwenger - I feel like an outsider, man...

Chapter11_Page7

-------------------
Rant of the Day
------------------
I saw a really cowardly article in the newspaper attacking all who are skeptical of the H1N1 vaccine as a bunch of idiots who believe that the vaccines have very tiny nanomachine microchips created by the reptoids to enslave humanity. Then it also dissed the natural health advocates and put them all into the same crowd. In the end, its the government loves you!!! take the shot!!! All of the vaccine skeptics are crazies. Yeah right. You didn't even mention mainstream doctors like Dr. Len Horrowitz and Dr. Russel Blaylock... and a bunch of others:
http://www.whale.to/vaccine/articles4.html

Feel free to disagree with me on this but I am more likely to believe those natural health advocates and "conspiracy theorists". Why?

- Various natural medicine doctors said not to drink the fluoridated water. Skeptical at first, I tried not drinking the tap water and took distilled water instead. Bingo. My teeth got whiter. And I suddenly had more energy. And don't forget the weight loss!!!

- My depression (caused by my wounded past. If you don't believe me, some of the characters in this comic are inspired by real life experiences), self-esteem issues, etc. were cured by hypnotherapy and energy healing. The psychiatric SSRI drugs failed miserably.

- My lack of energy, extra weight, depression caused by chemical imbalance in the brain, etc. were cured by drinking one of those "natural greens" supplements they sell at the herbal stores.

- And to top it all... IT WAS THROUGH SELF-HYPNOSIS THAT CURED ME OF A COMBINED DIARRHEA AND SEVERE FLU!!! ALL I DID WAS MEDITATE ON IT AND LAY MY HANDS NEAR MY ABDOMINAL AREA!!! And visualize the healing the same way you see Claudita heal her wounds in this comic. When over-the-counter meds failed... When I was very close to calling 9-1-1 because it was the worst diarrhea and flu I ever experienced in my life.

Therefore, I would take the word of the natural health community over Big Pharmacide, and Big Brother any day. They can take all their toxic environmentally-harmful chemicals and shove it!

YES TO NATURAL HEALTH!!!

_______________

@Bjayrudy - that was nice of you to share that... sounds sad. :(

@Warpedwenger, LanceDanger - thanks for commenting.

@SarahN, Jonko - its human nature to hate on that who is different. Unfortunately, thats the reason behind all forms of discrimination.

@Necromortise - speaking of miserable people, alot of government employees (the rank and file ones who make 30-40k a year. Not the fat cat ones) look pretty miserable to me.

@ghostrunner - nice analogy there.

Finished reading this book called "Sojourn" by Gina Lake.
http://www.globusz.com/ebooks/Sojourn/index.htm

That book discussed the concept of soul age. Its an interesting read. Though I only agree with around 85% of it.

Surprisingly, the concept of soul age is something I'm incorporating in a future sequel of this comic (tentatively called "Kasama Mo"--trans: Your Companion).

@Fire Ash and Birth - yep. you guessed it. Kyle thinks he's the normal one and the rest of the world is insane.

@Aurora Moon - glad you've mellowed out. Just make sure you complete the healing in this life (you can do it yourself or ask the help of an energy healer or a spiritual psychotherapist to help you). So you don't need to waste time in the next. Good luck. :)

@Warpedwenger, ghostrunner, trevoramueller, XM0stLyGhOstLyX - thanks for commenting.

@SarahN - nah. Kyle can remain calm. As you can see, he's trying his best to remain calm.

@Necromortise - Didn't know you've read Brood Knight. Glad you liked it. I just wanna tell my readers who haven't read it... is that it is similar to MAG-ISA... but its a bit more immature as its a comic I've worked on in my late teens.

I'm not talking about Shattered Hate and Shadow Nemesis. I'm talking about the rest of BK[CLASSICS].

Damn geocities... There goes my 300+ pages of Brood Knight. lol
