I had to think about it a bit, to explain radio waves to a medieval person in a way that doesn't involve a lecture.
I'm getting used to drawing Strahl's crazy hair.

This page drawn by me, CG grayscales by JustNoPoint. The lineart for this page seems to have come out a bit light near the bottom... old scanner.

Her part of the world/time has literally never seen/heard of a sword worn on the back. She's being very open to new ideas, to be even trying this based on a commoner's suggestion.

Read the companion comic FIGHT 1; both stories take place in the same world. Currently I will be updating F2 more; Bittertea has not quit on drawing the F1 chapter, but atm, she is working hard for her money...

This page drawn by me, CG grayscales by JustNoPoint. He's rapidly getting the hang of grayscaling!

I think it's pretty clear that Chase is having a flashback. Let me know if it's unclear.

Oho, Chase has been keeping secrets! Though, to be fair, Nuada never asked. Lots of new characters on this page. Let's see if anyone is geeky/old enough to recognize them. One of them is someone who EEN had petitioned for.

Read the companion comic FIGHT 1; both stories take place in the same world. Currently I will be updating F2 more; Bittertea has not quit on drawing the F1 chapter, but her computer is currently inaccessible to her.

Nuada is referring to when Chase fell into the river in chapter 4... a much-belated explanation. Yes, she really can't swim (in her source fiction). Although fan art loves to show her in a skimpy swimsuit.

Chapter 8: Prime Directive - Page 92

This page by me: 1st page of the new chapter. As the chapter over in FIGHT 1 winds down, I'm getting a little urge to draw F2 again.

I do watch Star Trek (not the original series, though), but the chapter title isn't a homage to it. The term has become widespread in the sci-fi genre.

Read the companion comic FIGHT 1; both stories take place in the same world. Currently I am updating F1 more; I will have a small buffer of pages for it, if all goes well.
