White Space Comics 1

Whitespace: The comic!

I really don't know what else to call it, or if I should classify it as it's own comic or as an SG. I decided fuck making a normal comic, I feel inspired to do something now. So I ditched the backgrounds and coherant storyline concepts and using only what I needed to get the humour across, did more of a minimalist punchline structure, or as I call it "A string of non sequitur gags".

I dunno, give me your opinion. I mainly did it for the lulz, but if it's an alright comic concept I might keep it going. One way or another it was a fun way to break out old, perfectly fine sprites that I never get to use.

PS: 90% of this is based on MSN convo's and my stream of consciousness.

The 4ums - 003

An epic re-enactment of the grand opening day.
'Course, I opened it early 'Cause I was slacking off on the coding and graphics and it would've ended up as another "Coming out shortly before I die" project. Being another project wiped clean off the internet, I said "Fuck it" and cut this comic off right where it is. Yeah. All 3 glorious issues now on DD. XP

Also, Porg's sprite joins the others in the banner. The Idea was that everytime a new character was introduced, he'd become a permanent part of the banner. Never got very far as you can see. ^^;

Me & Porg figured out some plotholes in SG so you should see an update of that some year. Very lethargic recently, we'll see how it all pans out.

The 4ums - 001

Aha! I just found another abandoned comic of mine. Looks like DSC has updates for a few more days again. =)

Anyway, This one was kinda quirky. I personally loved it. The sprites were seriously small, as they were all meant to be compatible as icons as well as characters. And thus new poses were pretty easy to do, and because I had serious problems saying I ever ran an 8-bit comic (It's just way too easy to do, IMO) I created what I dubbed "12 bit" spriting. 8 bit bases with multicolor palettes. I was creating a new forum (I used to run an old one for the SG cast & fans, Shut down now) with a completely custom graphic design, layout, features, etc, 'Cause recently alot of the community's I frequented were dying out. In fact the entire RM2K3 community I knew has, to my knowledge dissolved into nothing as of today. Either way it crashed pretty soon (Completely unrecoverable) due to the fact I was leeching a free DNS off some people. And hence the "Sens Forum" comics, (Which were to be just filled with inside humour from the forums) died pretty quickly after they were made. Now the forum still exists as an extremely-dead Gaia Guild bought by yours truly, in what I consider the biggest waste of 20'000 gaia gold ever.

...I'm still trying to figure out what to do with all the spriting I did for this comic. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. Descriptions too long.

CTC 016

Haha! I came back to torment you all with one final issue!
Well, Better I update with something than nothing at all non? And I get more exposure for our Project 7 sprites. =D

Anyway, This issue was alot of fun to put together. 'Cause each individual frame would make me crack up as I'm putting it together, and 'cause I get to experiment with the graphics I'll be using in P7. And at the end of the issue, I do what should've done awhile ago. x.x;

Anyway, Enjoy.
