Beyond your wildest imagination

I saw Revenge of the Fallen last weekend. It was a good film, mainly because of the increased screentime the robots got, but it could have benefited from a tighter script and some editing to make it shorter and more coherant (as well as removing the crude humour that just failed to work).

(and yes, this is the same strip as Decepticomics, I just wanted to give some life to this strip).

The Cube

Is anyone actually interested in this comic anymore?

I'm certainly not. I feel that it's gone downhill, compared to last year's strips, through a combination of blah humour and overexposure of BEWD, Groudon, and the Transformers. I'm probably going to end it at 100.

Filler: Rev Raptor VS Command Wolf Irvine

A few days ago I dug out the other of my Zoids-the Rev Raptor. I found it was more complete than I thought-it's only missing four caps, the wind-up key, and one of the scythes on its back. Otherwise, it's in pretty good condition.

And I couldn't resist posing him fighting Command Wolf Irvine (yeah, that's its full name-to distinguish itself from the previous Command Wolf, since this one is anime-accurate). Due to the lack of articulation, I could only make it look like Command Wolf is trying to bite Rev Raptor's arm.

Tyranid Rush

So, the Tyranids finally got into a Dawn of War game. I may actually consider getting it now.

See, the problem with Tyranids is that they're designed to be played like a relentless horde. That is unfeasible in a game where figures cost more than Bill Gate's salary. Since in DoW an army does not cost real-world money, making a Tyranid army there is more cost-effective.

On, and on the subject of Tyranids, the new edition models suck.

Product Placement

I entered TSX in the school Arts Fest again this year. The theme was 'Hollywood', and as I had several toys from a recent blockbuster movie, they were the obvious choice of characters.
