Hippe Van is in our community spotlight this week! Perhaps it's partially the impression her username leaves on me, but she's always struck me as one of the most friendly, easygoing, and considerate people on the site. She can be sighted most often (by me anyway) in the General Discussion forum, carrying on the community chat in the Rant and Photo threads. She's always got a supportive word for people who are down, a compliment for the people who share their accomplishments, and advice for people's general worries. I look forward to the little updates about her pets, job and family. It seems like a simple thing but sharing of yourself really lets people get closer to you. She's a bit of an old soul and it feels like she's everyone's friend- I suspect I'm not the only person on DD who feels like I know Hippie Van! :]
Don't forget that you can always send ozoneocean or skoolmunkee a PQ if you'd like to nominate someone to be in the spotlight!
