It was December 24, 1999 and I was bored. I typed in thundercats.com in IE and for some reason it lead to Sluggy Freelance. It's never done it since so I can only assume it's fate taking a hand. I found it interesting and I read the entire series that night. It probably would have ended there until my friend Austin showed up. We went to Waffle House for coffee and he proceeded to tell me about how our lives were going no where. We would amount to nothing. I sat there listening to this and realized that I had no intention of letting him be right. I would accomplish something. I went home and went to sleep.
The next morning we did the whole christmas thing and when we were done I picked up my sketch book. I'd had an idea to do a comic before, but I had never heard of a web comic till the previous night.
