The Blue Line Technique - What Paper is Best??

I am about to begin a couple of new projects that I intend to color using watercolors and gouache. I plan to use the "blue line technique" by printing the line art in light cyan onto a separate page and painting over that second page. Does anyone know of a type of paper that works well for this process? A paper that will print nicely AND absorb the paints well without bleeding. I am not too worried about warpping, since I glue the pages to masonite while painting them. I am in the middle of trying various types of paper and techniques at my local copy center, but any tips would be great. Thanks!
