Painting Comics Using the Blue Line Technique - Know Any Good Paper Types?

I am about to begin a couple new comics that I'd like to color by using watercolor. I'd like to use what is known as the Blue Line Technique, where I print my line art as a light cyan onto a second sheet of paper and then paint on that second sheet. After which I will place my black line art over my watercolors in Photoshop. My question is, does anyone know of a good paper type to use for this process? Paper type is very important here, because some won't make it through the printer, others are too thick, others don't do well with paint, etc. I am currently using Strathmore Bristol Board plate surface smooth 500 series, but it's not taking the paint as well as I'd like it to. Any suggestions??
