Hello there, fellow Drunk Duckers! I'm in need of an artist for an alternate history military webcomic. The comic is about a young Confederate soldier fighting in World War one. Problem is, I've never done a script or anything like it. This is based off a short story I'm working on, so I have the idea for the first couple of pages from that. If interested, reply to the thread, or just send me a PQ, whatever works. I'd do this all myself...but, you know...not a great artist!

I think you might have a hard time finding an artist with that pitch. Why? Well, from what you've written here, you seem to only have a rough idea based on another piece of work you have yet to realise. It'll make potential artists question if they want to get involved in a comic which is (by what you've put) only in the first few stages of development.

I suggest re-wording the request, maybe try and ask a few artists for some concept sketches (as a favour?) to help attract interest to the project.

Sounds like an interesting concept, but your request may be premature. It's probably better that you focus on finishing the short story first and then you can put together a comic adaptation of the completed work.
