I know someone who claims to have seen a dog get shot in the park the other day. I don't believe it's true, and the dog really isn't that shaggy.
But really, I honestly don't think this is true, but now he wants me to call 911 for him. How many think this is set up to make me look stupid (which I am)?

if you didn't see the dog killed, but you did see the dead dog, then call animal control.

 I didn't see either. My friend just wants me to call some authority and tell them a dog was shot. They claim it's true.
 

If I saw nothing, but my friend did, then I would not make a call to anyone.
 
I'd have no facts other than my friend's word, and my friend's word sounds much better coming out of his/her mouth than mine.
