Since the structure of the team hasn't yet been decided on I need to hear your suggestions: Why do they team up in the first place? What is their relation to each other, and their place in the world in general? You might be familiar with the HU Initiative from Heroes Unite [..], a superhero team under the wings of the United Nations. I envision Heroes Alliance to be an old-fashioned team without supervision by the UN. Further characters don't need to be steady team members either, we could handle these as occasional team-ups.
But this is all pretty vague at this point, and everything is debatable. So let's hear your suggestions!

Virtus - An 18-year old from Sweden with many of the more tradititional morality traits common to the superhero (minus social eptitude) and essentially a speedster that thinks before he leaps.

SUGGESTION: If the core group of the Heroes Alliance is essentially based in the US, then a way to incorporate him might be as some sort of government program trying to extend out into more international business.

But seeing as you already have one character with the V theme, I might be persuaded to pick another of my cast.

More than happy for Titan to appear but her permanent inclusion may conflict with upcoming events in Energize/Fearless

You remember him? The blue stretchy guy who comes from the Land Down Under (aka: Australia!). He was part of the ground team tasked with taking out Motherboard during the EGO storyline.

You know, that one pink guy who doesn't take himself too seriously, he's jokester and can morph into anything but his face will always be visible. Hitting him in the face will cause him to change back to his normal self from a transformation.

Since he's a young adult (about 18 years old) I figure he would best fit into a teen-aged small group of heores if anyone is interested!

Note on SHELL (for the writers)

I think this is the right place to put it, but I also want to note that despite the exosuit and repulsors, SHELL is no Tony Stark/Ironman (super on-the-fly genius). His field of expertise are Physics, Chemistry, some Computer Science, and some robotics, so some of the tech in SHELL's suit and the software programming of his two droids/persocoms already existed (not created by him) prior to SHELL's existence as a superhero.

Might as well do the same for V then.

Virtus is NOT a superspeedster. He can't dodge bullets, he can't run up a sonic boom, things like that. He's merely a little bit faster than an a professional athlete. Concerning his personality and the fact that he is young, he is NOT impatient, vengeful or for that matter violent, killing is impossible for him. Always makes it a priority doing what's right above what everyone else thinks. But he's also stubborn and not really a people person to a start. Gets nervous around beautiful women.

Titans motivation for being part of this team. She is sent from the future to stop an upcoming threat (Salvation: The Stormfront) but is doubting her abilities to deal with this threat.

I figured she could see this new team as another means to learn from more experienced heroes in preparation for what it ahead of her.

All these heroes seem so cool, I hope my guy will fit in.

Meet, Romey Lu a.k.a. Bleeder. She's a Chinese int. radio personality who lives in Germany. Her only actual power is the infinite flow of energy that's inside the gauntlet she wears, which allows her to form it into whatever shape she feels.

I have a stable of characters, but know that you only need one. The problem is whittling it down. Since my only comic at the moment is an attempt at slice of life humor and pitiful, I know I can't direct you there. There are characters I posted on Heroes Unite, but out of them, Split is really a character for the Pride High message boards and Tempore is not actually a hero.

I could probably make a new character, but it might feel forced. I love my characters as they are. Therefore, I'll post a few in their original form and see what's what. Should they be interesting, maybe I could either tweak them to be duplicates in this reality or find a way to explain their being here:

Split (She was put on the HU boards, but this is her original character)

Protean (Split's boyfriend)

These following are not in high school and therefore probably better suited:

Merry Maiden (no picture or bio) blond cheerleader, girlfriend of Dragrant. Flight, strength, speed, invulnerability

Just Plum Awesome (no picture or bio) frat boy personality granted cosmic powers that emit a purple hue. Since he considers purple to be a "gay color", calls it "plum" instead

Tempore . Tasked, and only concerned with, being and agent of order as opposed to chaos. Can travel between realities and wields cosmic power, but he can be an ally one day or a foe the next, depending on the circumstances.

I'm sorry about the length. I make lists as a hobby, and actually held back on characters. I love all of mine so much (but out of the ones in activity, I like Split the most). Feel free to skip over my post as overeager if you wish.

shastab24: I put your characters on the list, but I need a little bit more info, since I'm not quite sure of the context in which they were created. How much of a history do they have, apart from their bios?

Split and Protean are my primary characters on the Pride High boards. They have been going through their freshman year of high school and recently started dating. Dragrant, Merry Maiden and Just Plum Awesome are tertiary characters who were last heard of when they were recruited as soldiers in a war between two alien races, the Klaakith and Wistils.

Tempore is a different entity entirely. I am in the process of putting together a comic with him, but he is currently just monitoring his realities, as he is one of countless denizens of order that have dominion over a multiverse each.

Obviously, Split and Protean were created for the Pride High universe. Dragrant, Merry Maiden and Just Plum Awesome are extensions, but they don't really have much tied into that reality that would make them not be able to have adventures outside of it. Before the Klaakith-Wistil war, I really didn't show any of them in action, so anything could have happened before.

Tempore, meanwhile, is a cosmic central figure for my upcoming comic universe. However, the lack of adventures so far leave a lot that can happen.

Upcoming for each of them: Split, Protean and Dragrant are in a comic script of mine that I'm trying to get drawn (and am failing, because I can't pay). Things change drastically afterward for them, so I would understand if anything would happen as something before it. Also, Split and Protean can't have much time pass, as they are still students at a high school. Merry Maiden may not survive the Klaakith-Wistil war (which I'm contemplating trying as a comic instead of an RP on the Pride High boards). Just Plum Awesome will just go back into the ether, as I have no further plans for him at this moment (he's still coming into his own as a character, and I currently don't know exactly what to do with him). Tempore is going to have an introductory story, one that introduces his worldview, pits him against an agent of chaos and sets in motion the beginnings of my superhero universe, which would actually begin in a comic drawn by somebody else.

Am I confusing? I hope not. I'd link to the Pride High characters' stories, but one would need to be members of the Pride High message boards to read them.

Okay, to sum it up: The Pride High characters appeared in prose stories on a message board (and you wrote them all yourself?), and the other characters are part of a comic universe you're planning, is that right?

At this point I think there are two ways we can go about using your characters: Either one of our writers finds they could be used in a story they'd be interested in writing/pitching, or you'll come up with ideas on how to integrate them into what we're planning already.

I should mention that personally I'm not a big fan of introducing different realities. I know it's pretty common in superhero comics. I would just like to make sure these would make good stories and not just easy excuses for having different continuities exist side by side. SympleSymon actually proposed to have HA exist in a different universe than HU, and I turned that down pretty early. I think it's much more exciting to have all characters exist in the same universe.

That said, exceptions can be made, but they must be able to get me excited about using different realities. :D

I agree with the keeping the characters within the same reality thing, it gives the universe of HA more cohesion since characters know about other characters and in some cases, the villains that they would be fighting.

My reasoning is that Pride High isn't mine, but the characters I mention are. I'm attached to them and would love to see them elsewhere. But, I could come up with versions that exist in this universe. Or I could try asking Tommy Roddy (the Pride High creator) what universe his characters do inhabit. They do share with at least one other team, as The Legends are a part of the universe, so he has been known to cross over with web-based heroes.

I have lots of characters and would like to be involved in this somehow.

Kevin Walsh (callsign: Deadeye) Affiliation: Shadow Force
No real super-human abilities, just impeccable aim. Kevin's a self-righteous hot-head who's got too much of an ego to see his own faults. He has a pair of wrist holsters that hold a few specialized handguns with a wide array of ammo (exploding, armor piercing, tracking round) and would probably only participate in a team if it also suited his own interests.

Tom Walsh (callsign: Starstriker) Affiliation: Shadow Force
Tom can move/run extremely fast and sometimes generate sonic blasts. He is not the typical "speed demon" character as he is also the leader of Shadow Force, but he would also help out another team if they really needed it or were fighting someone very evil.

Paul Gerrard (callsign: Granite) Affiliation: Shadow Force
Super-dense, nearly unbreakable skeleton, increased strength and durability. He's an all-around "good guy" and would help just about anyone- especially if it made him look good in front of his bosses, Tom and Kevin Walsh.

Helena Perez (callsign: Wildfire) Affiliation: Shadow Force
Heat/fire manipulation. Helena prides herself on using her abilities in unconventional ways, such as meating a metal lock to the point that its internal mechanisms fail rather than just blasting it off with brute force. She has an incredible meanstreak and would help anyone else that has been abuse in the same ways that she has been.

Jamison Sheddard (callsign: Jelly) Affiliation: Shadow Force
Jamison can form a thick exoskeleton out of the strange, protoplasmic goo his body can secrete, and can shape it into a variety of things, grow to a tremendous size and form it into weapons. Jamison comes from a lower-class working family and would help another team if the price was right.

Rita Best (callsign: Ghost) Affiliation: Shadow Force
Rita can transubstantiate into a spectral form that allows her to move through solid objects, hove in mid-air and even take control of another persons body for a short time. She is a gentle soul who doesn't believe in violence but would not sit idly by while evil runs rampant.

Julia-Rain Davies (callsign: Shades) Affiliation: Freelance
Shades' eye emit a dark psychic energy that she can use for various purposes including teleportation, creating solid objects and "sucking" the light out of a room. She is always on the run from her past, but would help others if they'd return the favor.

Petra Milanovich (callsign: Roulette) Affiliation: Freelance
Known as 'The Ice Viper' in the former Soviet Union, Petra has the unique ability to "blink" an object or even a person out of existence for short period of time (think of it like teleporting out, then returning to the exact same place a few minutes later), she also has super-agility, balance and reflexes and is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and bladed weapons. She would help another team if it got her closer to tracking down the escaped mad scientist Menace, who she's been tracking for months.
