Of course, that's the wonders of the shortened version.

But I love that word, because unlike many long words, we experience stuff like that all the time. Plus, it's fun to say, but I've yet to put it into normal conversation. Same with the word estivate, as well.

Fear the ones who majored in English! We will mangle your brain with our mastery of the corners of the language.

Villains are interesting to create. Though I don't have much for him yet, here is another (and a proper villain from me this time):

The Floccinaucinihilipilification (sometimes shortened to The F-Man)
This is a character I've been kicking around in my head for a while. He is a psychic, but uses a specialized form that will lower another's self-esteem. If he tells a cop, for instance, "You can't aim worth crap," the cop will believe this to be so and therefore be unable to aim his weapon at The F-Man. The limiations to this ability: The F-Man must vocalize what he wants to put across, and he needs to know the subject is there (no situation of "Any snipers hidden in the area can't aim").
I've been toying with writing a script which introduces Sparkle and Astral to Heroes Alliance which involves him as a villain--but I'm still figuring who would be able to beat him (certainly not my characters).

I just needed to create a character that used that name. It was calling to me, I guess.

You know, I've been more or less shut off from HA writing for a while by my peers taking som great initiative, but this sounds like a fun story that has peaked my interest. ^^

I thought this guy just especially for HA :D

Name: Mr. Face
Age: Unknown
Sex: Male

Characteristics: dapper, a very polite man most of the time, but get him angry and you'll wish you hadn't.

Backstory: Mr. Face was once known as Harry Mackinaw, a man who came from a very long line of Vaudeville actors and stage illusionists, he decided that crime was a more lucrative way to make money instead of the pennies he made at the now disappearing magic shows.

Attire: He wears a Bowler hat, a white suit with a black tie, red suspenders, casual black pants, thin boots, and magician gloves. He usually wears a blank face mask, but can use make-up to change his look.

powers: None, he has acrobatic agility, and uses various magic themed trick balls or an illusion producing cane.

(I will have a basic pic of him up soon)

I think he would be a little like Ransom from HU (Except for the teleportation part :P)

I think he would do Inside job kinda bank heists or perform some kind of magical illusion to steal pricless works and things of that nature :)

I tried to make him rather lanky and thin, I don't know if it came out too well, but I enjoyed doing him :)

Going through the storyline ideas, I looked at the Alien idea and I drew up some Pod People designs, I tried to make them in the vein of Corman or Edwood, very cheesy and stereotypical looking pod aliens :P

I did get very involved with them and actually thought about their actual planet, how they communicate, if they have a commanding hive mind or anything like that, I even did the "Sleeper" Pod People designs too, I should have them up tomorrow, this are prolly just "throw-away" villains mostly for a epic story though, but I had tons of fun doing them :)

Brain Slug/Worm

Pod Alien design

Hyrbid Pod Female

I will have a General Pod and a Male Hybrid Pod ready soon :)

I'm totally putting my two cents into this one! Wireless' main nemesis is Shock. Shock is actually the son of the large corporation that discovered that Wireless technology runs on the same wave length as brain waves. (Later on his father changes his company into an anti-super weapon lab to try and fix his mistakes) Shock was a spoiled rich kid who was also a serial killer who killed the girls he went on a date with. When Wireless threatened to stop him 'his' way until the police could catch him, he went out to try and get powers himself. He volunteered for an experiment at his father's work to prove that Wireless technology was harmless and convinced his knife throwing friend to sneak into an abandoned government biology lab from WWII above his father's lab to overload the circuits and basically give him super powers. It seemed to work well until his friend backed into a table of chemicals which spilled through an air vent onto Shock giving him Dragon's wings, fangs, and super strength

*wow, long description*

Anyways, the gist

Powers:
Electric shock
Super Strength
Seemingly Unbreakable claws on wings
Flying
Super Speed
Mental connection to wireless devices

Personality:
Violent
Vengeful
Doesn't think things through
Brash

Other Interesting facts:
Unlike Wireless he can't "power down" and look human again

Two things here:

1 - I've been doing a lot of research into the psychic world for my novel, and I believe this F-Man guy could be classed as a Psychic Vampire. Yes, there really are such people :P They basically suck all self-esteem, confidence and positive energy out of their targets, either unintentionally or on purpose (like he would be doing).

2 - As for who could beat him. Seeing as how the basis of my Psychosis Wave season 1 finale is that the HA don't get affected by the subliminal messages thanks to their communicator frequencies (apart from ONE particular member who shall remain nameless. Gotta have SOME suspense, lol), maybe they could effectively face this F-Man character without adverse effects in their psyches for the same reason...?

Dave

PS: Is it just me, or is this thread breaking the page? I have to scroll across for miles to read posts all the way across, lol!
Retake - What happens when a movie star goes from portraying a hero on the silverscreen to becoming one in real-life? Nothing good...

Got brand new villains for us :D

Name: George Maxamillion
Alias: The Leech
Sex: Male
Height: 6'4
weight: 245lbs (In normal mode)

Info: George was an up and coming athelte in Wrestling for his college university, he also had the rich backings of his father to allow him every opportunity to suceed and make it in the world, unfortunately he decided that to win at all costs was better than honesty and began using strong steroid like pills which not only enhanced his strength and speed, but amplified his aggression, until he was kicked out of the university and was kicked out of his home by his father who didn't want a Junkie for a son, since that time he noticed the pills had a strange side effect, giving him strange mouth like holes on his hands, and that if he used them on people, he would sap their strength and increase his own, seeing this as a way to make him some money and to get his revenge, he donned a costume and named himself The Leech.

Powers: Leech like mouths on his palms allow him to suck the energy and strength of anyone he can get his hands on, allowing him to increase in strength and vitality.

Weakness: He is easily provoked and when he is in a blind rage he can attack almost anything.

colored design.

His hands showing the Leech teeth mouths

---------------------

Name: Amon-Set-Anu

Info: He was born in Ancient Egypt and was a powerful sorcerer who had schemes of power, offering his soul to the god of chaos Set he was given the power to turn into a ferocious beast with the power to descend the world into disorder, but through the strength of an unknown hero, he was defeated and buried alive, though because of his deal with Set he didn't die but merely sleeps.

Powers: Speed and agility, pretty strong, black magic

And yes he is a Werewolf Mummy :D

I have a couple villains I've been thinking of which should be great. However, I'm changing this up a bit from my usual style: these will be much more collaborative. All I will do is provide descriptions. The first person to post pictures they draw based on that will have then designed the official look (I'd do this, but I can't design characters very well). Also, there will be no need to ask me if you can include them in a script: what I'm posting below is literally everything I'm giving for the characters before they're given up to the boards for those who with to to play around with.

The Hair Pair: a group of criminals with hair-related powers.

The 'Stache – His is a truly epic mustache. He has the ability to control its length, stength and all of its movement. He often uses it to fight over using his fists or feet, and is known to walk with it instead of using his legs.

Follicle – Like Marvel's Medusa, has complete control over the hair on her head. She can use it in similar ways to the 'Stache, but prefers to use it as a protective armor around her body.

The two operated together for some time before they came across the Beard of Power, a stoic man who had a beard he could use as a kind of Hammerspace—he has an amazing ability to store items in it and pull them out when needed.  He looks like Alan Moore.

The Beard of Power joined the group, but they all agreed that they should just keep the name “Hair Pair” because it was cool that it rhymed (and the Hitchhiker's Guide set the precedent in that arena by calling itself a “trilogy” even though it had more books than three). The team isn't averse to more members or changing the name, though, so long as it rhymes or alliterates. However, they have only has offers from two people so far: the Eyelash Bandit, who has the ability to flutter their eyelashes to create low-level flight; and The Furrower, who has the ability to furrow their eyebrows to cause extreme sheepishness in those it's directed towards.

Hi there! I was just looking around and I happened to have a couple villain profiles that you might enjoy.
1) Name: Armond Starion
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Human (5th Generation British-American)
Hair color: Red-brown
Eye color: Blue
Alias: Riotmonger
Abilities- No superhuman abilities, but has a suit that protects him from almost all harm, amplifies his physical strength and agility, has a brief stealth-mode and has tons of ammuntion. His arsenal includes things like smoke bombs, EMP for an emergency, tasers and a high-power energy rifle.
UPDATE: Possibly putting in, as an ability for the suit, the ability to manipulate light (to a minor degree)- so that he can move his image over a few feet or something like that.
Backstory: Armond was originally a cop in a big city (still working on which one, originally it was supposed to be Cetacion, the backdrop of DH), but the longer he worked, the more criminals he saw get protection and a safe ride. It disgusted him. The more successful he was, the more criminals survived. Furthermore, he couldn't stand seeing the internal politic of the police department. Resentment filled him, and he quit the force.
Using his intellect- and that of unnamed donors interested in seeing his success, Armond created a Riot-suit that would allow him to fight on a level far above the average man. At first, he only hunted criminals, but as he became accustomed to his new power, his aims darkened- the current order is wretched in his eyes, and he will have no more of it. As such, he became the Riotmonger, who seeks a new, greater order born through bloody chaos.
Attire: http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/142/1/a/armond_starion_by_dyvas-d3h07nz.jpg [fc02.deviantart.net]
^ This is an old picture, but the general idea is the same.
---------
2) Name: Andrew Haalston
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Hair color: black
Eye color: dark brown
Alias: Hurricane Paranoia
Abilities: H.P. has abilities that allow him to control the wind around him, namely: Its movement and intensity. He otherwise is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and carries objects intended to cause confusion and fear in the midst of a windstorm.
Backstory: Andrew was always obsessed with the occult, ever since he was able to exert a small amount of control over the breeze. The more he researched, the more he became fascinated with the idea of becoming superior through his new abilities. It is his perogative, in his eyes, to rise up and bring forth a brand new age of fear- an age in which those with power will never have to fear the grip of the powerless again!
Style: Hurricane Paranoia sports a mask that has a single eye- though this eye is a hurricane-shaped opening. Behind the opening is a lens he looks through that is one-way- so that no one can see his actual face. His outfit, otherwise, is a bodysuit that looks almost skintight. Artistic License is fine with that.
So, hope you enjoy these!
