This is a project I had on the back burner for a while, I had written it while I was the Captain of an Ice Cream truck for a brief time, way back in the year 2004!!
I also had this thing with taking stray cats to the homeless cat management team in Pittsburgh and got alot of strays spayed/neutered.
Bob Barker told me to.


That is why it is called the Days of Cats and Icecream, it was just a point in my life that I happened to put this all together.

In the next few weeks, you will see our main man, Bongo Woodley Wollongong go through hell on this strange new planet, all the while, traped in his giant rubber lizard suit.

What is this, "Flaming Carrot" meets "Fear and Loathing"? Completely surreal, but oddly compelling (like all good surreality). Interesting art too... completely original, great color scheme, and on the rare occasion that you choose to display it, you seem like an excellent artist as well. Looks like an old Dinosaur Jr. album cover.

yeah, I sort of do my own thing.

It started out as a story I made up while playing with toys with my kid and just sort of went from there.

and I like old B movies.

I just watched one last nite...

You like old B Movies and you just watched Robot Monster last night? Come on man! My all time fave is Carnival of Souls.

I don't know why I never saw robot monster before, it was wild.
I acquired it like 2 years ago, it had just sat on the shelf.

it was part of a 50 pack of sci fi movies.

so...

There was alot of t.v. time involved in viewing alot of those rare jems of bizarre-ness.

The CATS N ICECREAM story was actually drawn in story board form.
that is why some pages are a bit sloppy and others are more clean.
It would be nice to see it as a film some day.
It is really just a screen play in comic book format.
