Hi, just wanted get the comic out there.

I'd appreciate it if you came by and took a look it but it'd be great if you tell me how I can improve.

Something to Laugh About (STLA for short) is about the life of a teenage boy named Cal and his friends and family. There are some occurences of certain four letter expletives but it isn't too harsh.

added a new comic. things are looking slow, but I'm picking it right back up again.

granted, there's only 5 comics so there's not a lot to pick up.

Hey, I scoped out your comic and have some feedback for you.

I think the comic could use more contrast. Right now I think you're going in the right direction. You've got a story building, a tale if you will. You're working on consistancy among your characters, which they're easily identifiable. I think darkening your lines, you could do this with photosoph's contrast tools, would do wonders. Honestly I think what you're doing is what you need to be doing. Keep at it, don't give up, and don't get discouraged.

at first I thought the black and white was fine... that is, until I viewed my comic on another computer and saw that it was more like shades of gray. I'm actually using the gimp right now to edit my comic, but I'm sure that I'll find something similar to photoshop's contrast tools.

I hope to put it into color sooner or later, but I'm pretty fond of the black and white...

Hey, popping in this month again.

The strips finally got into the double-digits, so I'm happy.

Not bad. Could use a little color or a background. But the comedy is good and the characters seem unique so good job on that.
