One is former police officer who, five years ago, single-handedly brought down an infamous criminal organization. Another is an ex-assassin who now runs a used book store. The third is a genius with multiple PhDs who orphaned as a child. What do they have in common? These three ladies are best friends sharing their lives and their troubles. Common enemies threaten their lives and closely guarded secrets threaten their friendships. In a story of old grudges and new foes, jilted lovers and deep regrets, there's no telling what is waiting on the next page.
Used Books is 200 pages old. :) (Rated T+ for violence)
I humbly request you refrain from critique, as I am woefully thin-skinned -- and the comic so far does not showcase my best work. (I have been learning to draw as I've been going along, and while at page 200, the drawing isn't God-awful, it is not near the work I've become capable of by page 400+. I have since gotten comfortable with dynamic panels, camera angles, backgrounds, etc ;) ) Anyway, if you can enjoy a decent story despite some rough and primitive drawing, you might like Used Books . I promise that better art is just over the horizon, and this comic will be around and updating (every single day with no filler) for a long time.

Thanks. I'm proud of it and looking forward to sharing my next chapters. Each new page I draw makes me feel more ashamed of my earlier stuff, though... I guess that is kinda a good thing, like "progress."

Bump...
A new fun and exciting story arc begins today (now page 228, just as scheduled). I felt like making a bump. Also notable is that my style really did improve since page 200. Interesting panel layouts and angles and everything. (I'm not the best artist, but the effort is there. ;) ) Anyway, it's worth a look if you haven't seen it, or even if you just want a peek at the progress I've made in the art. (The story is always getting better, too, but that hasn't ever been "weak," IMO.)
