Tabletop Legends is a sprite comic, BUT I use all original sprites and photo realistic backgrounds. The sprites are done in the same style as the sprites from Final Fantasy 3 (6 in Japan), because I thought that the sprites in the game were very expressive. The storylines for the TTL comics are based upon years of tabletop roleplaying game stories I ran my friends through. I have taken my favorite (and most recent) and started the series with the story "The Rise of Dedrin". By the way I know many people are jaded on Sprite comics and well from some of the comics I've seen made with sprites I can see why, but just give TTL a chance that's all I ask.
