Akushien (did I spell that right?) has a broken horn in the last panel. Does that mean the three of them had little scuffles before then, or did they not really interact with each other before the big war?

no,they've had communication's and many verbal argument's befor but the war was their first physical attack. Akushien broke that horn as a young adult after his horns had fully grown he was running off from "the old king" the one who ruled befor these guy's and fell off his baine breaking his horn whilest trying to grab his oldest daught aku from the street's.
