Katerina likes martial arts, playing the keyboard and hanging out with her friends. However, not everything is as it seems inside her family. Her father is constantly having to work late hours to prove he deserves his oft-wanted job, and the whole family worries about him. Katerina anticipates her father's eventual job loss, choosing to look for work no matter how weird she finds may be. Meanwhile, at school and elsewhere, she meets new, quirky people who either encourage her or really try to push her limits...what's a girl to do with pressure coming from all sides? And somehow, in the midst of everything, she falls in love...

Our first chapter starts off with a bang. Our main girl Katerina Chang's the one with her hair tied back. She takes martial arts so she's sparring with her best friend Shannon Mok in the city dojo. Katerina lives in the heart of New York City, where she goes to high school, hangs out with her friends, and tries her best to handle whatever life throws her way. If you're a slice-of-life person, may I welcome you to Help Wanted!
