There was once a time in history, when great art was defined by talent, the ability to create feeling through a beautiful, realistic painting of something that was of worth to both the creator and the beholder. Nowadays, someone can grab a canvas, wet the paws of a young kitten, force it to walk across the before mentioned surface, and viola, they have a painting worth millions...
THANK GOD!
If we still needed talent in this world to accomplish something, where would regular people such as myself be? Modern art is so 'valuable', because of what art critics know of as expressionism; a technique of distorting objects and events so the artist can express himself. I have applied this technique to my strip, 'Stickmen'. I have expressed my need to visit a shrink.
So, since you love expressionism enough to pay for a few paintings for your house, I know you will love my expressionist strip for free. Please enjoy!
