This is my very first foray into comicdom. In other words: please go easy on me, I'm a virgin.

It's a swords and sorcery comic. I know what you're thinking: "Oh hum, not another LOTR/D&D/fantasy comic." Well, screw you! I happen to like them. The main character is a young human illusionist by the name of Lars. The basic premise is that he gets cursed, but the curse was efed up. It was supposed to kill him, but due to the fact that the witch was interrupted while casting, it had a random effect. (Curses, like bullets, never miss. They always hit something) Anyway, turns out it's a love curse (yep, not just a clever title), and makes him irresistible to the opposite sex. Here's the catch, it only works on demi-humans. (elves, dwarves, hobbits, pixies, goblins, trolls, orcs, gnomes, etc...) This wouldn't be a problem except ALL of his traveling companions happen to be female demi-humans.

HEHEHE I actually enjoyed it. Really liked the false beginning and my favorite page was when the panel flew away. The dialogue between the two people narrating the story is great. trailer trash hero hehehe.

Critique: The first 3 pages just look like illustrations not introduction to characters in a story. I would either put some words or at least their names onto the page describing the characters and the title of the comic. Second, don't write "turn" with an arrow anymore. It's a poor way of showing movement. use action lines, or have his hair move a certain way instead.

keep trying to improve on it!

Yeah, "turn" arrows will probably disappear from future strips (unless I find a way to give them comedic value). I'm probably gonna drop the first two fill pages sooner or later, since they were really just test pages anyway. Thanks for your input.

Yeah, I'm really liking it so far. I think the back and forth narration definitely got me hooked; it's an interesting way to start things out.

It's hard for me to give a proper crit with just four pages. But, the filler pages at the start bug me a little bit. I think you'd entice more folks to stick around and read the story if your first page is the first page of the actual comic. It grabbed me and made me want to keep reading, whereas the illustrations/ character intros at the beginning... well, just didn't. As for Lars' introduction- I don't mind getting to know the characters as the story progresses- I'm not sure you need to explain who the hero is right off the bat like that.

But that's just MHO. ;)

Yeah, I'd get rid of the filler stuff at the start. It looks promising, though I can't say much from four pages.
That's "Dr. BlkKnight" to all of you.

Due to heavy arm twisting from numerous sources I will clean up the unnecessary pages when I put in tomorrows update. Thanks for all your opinions and keep reading, I think it might get better, but I doubt it.

Don't run yourself down, it looks like it is just on the cusp of a good bit in the story.
