I have to say, totally dig the art. It is beautiful. The dialogue is also kick-ass.

But- and I mean no disrespect when I say this - the main character just annoys me. He just seems like a emo/jock womanizing moron that thinks a.)the world has conspired against him b.) he needs to do nothing to contribute to society. He embodies everything wrong with the standard 20-something American male.

Again, I am not saying this to be mean. I'm just saying I wouldn't buy a book full of characters that are based on people that annoy me in real life.

I'm going to keep reading though, I just hope I start rooting FOR the protagonist instead of wanting to punch him in the face.

You hit on the point exactly, and if you keep reading, I think you'll see...he gets what is coming to him in the end!

The comic wasn't meant to be a weekly updated story. It really is a self contained 64 page one-shot.(but sequuels are in the works) So, if you were to read the whole story at once, it would get to the payoff your hopefully looking for much quickly.
