The story line switches to a typical night at BCI the company where Steve works as security...It seems like a typical quiet night.

Well now, here we are about eight pages into Exposure and things are getting hairy quick!! Steve's effort to ensure the building is cleared brings him across one straggler - Mr. Newman - Fresh off a fishing vacation.

When he starts to show signs of being sick, Steve's first thought is to help him out.

Perhaps he should have paid a bit more attention to the man's symptoms...

He's going to end up paying for his oversight...dearly.

Steve thinks he's got it bad enough with a man who is steadily declining from the virus riddling his body, and Steve is only watching what he probably has to look forward to.

And here he thought things couldn't get any worse...

But life is full of little surprises!

The hits just keep coming for Steve as he has to explain to his girlfriend why he won't be coming home to her after work. He can tell she's trying to be strong for him, but it isn't making his own effort any easier.
