I hate it when Americans use Japanese names. Just because they think it's cool. One year in Japan, One year, You would use American names.

I'm not particularly a fan of any sort of Manga, but I do like your concept, so I checked it out.
First things first, stay away from the brush tool for the love of god. Your pencils arent too bad, though you may want to think about thickening them up somehow. But as for your lettering, stick to one font and NEVER EVER draw words with a brush.
With time, this could be decent, the writing is good and the style is nice, but try to draw everything first, you seem to have talent in that regard. That set of "eyes" you drew in prologue one just looked like some neon streaks, not the tears in the dark you were going for.
I'd say 3/5 for the fact that your 14 I'm guessing.

Hah ha, yeah, I'm a real scatter-brain so I forget which font I used, and I put all that stuff in with MSPaint so I can't go back and check.

Er, I'm not American... Canadian with English Ancestory, born in mexico. And the names are mixed, Ritsui and Kuro's names are Jappanese cause Ritsui just really fit him, and I couldn't think of any other name for Kuro. Most all the names are from many diffrent cultures, (A girl named Bonnie, another Named Henna, a guy named Shyam {Which is sandscrit or something})
And also... American names suck xD I myself have a Gailic name, with roots of Hebrew. I only used Jappanese cause they fit the charactors. And besides, Kuro's first name is Ray, Well where I'm from its always spelled "Rae"

It's free and does so much more than mspaint... if you don't have it, look for it in google. It supports layers, etc. and 2) I forget my font too so I downloaded one I liked and use it all the time... that makes it easier to be consistent... http://www.blambot.com/fonts.shtml has free fonts. Good work... keep it up!!

Wow, I love Canada and have spend a lot of time there (mostly on Business). I just got back a week ago from a long trip to Kanata (and got to spend a day at Mount Treblant). Hopefully you realize that being a webcomic-er makes me cooler than most :)

Sadly, most-all of my online encounters with americans havn't been all that pleasent. It's nice to have met atleast one decent yankee (yo, no offence) out there :)

Strangely, being from the South US (Georgia) we don't like Yankees either (just kidding, just kidding, nobody flame me!!). Let me know if you have problem with other Americans and I'll give them a sound talking-too! (or make them read my web comics... much worse punishment).
