I just really started working on this comic, I really want to be a professional artist and story writer someday, and I thought working on a big project like this would help improve my skills. Its kind of based in a DnD style story, because the characters are based off of a few friends and mine we made on saturday morning campaigns. lol.
Well, view it if you want, I don't have a scanner at this particular location right now, so I can't give you a preview shot. Thanks for reading.
(I'm really bad at this. ^.^; )

your art does seem to be coming along, have you considered inking the original sketches and then colouring? you do have a knack for colouring by the looks of the first character sheet. The stips do seem a little confusing, the dialogue is good it's just the visual flow of the strips are sometimes a little hard to understand, you may want to have a little practise at panel size and layout(a few panels looked a little cramped but not that many) the speech buubles also look a little messy but you are hand drawing it so i'm not expecting it to be perfect, also the handwriting for the speech bubbles tends to slant a little every now and then, so you may want the rule a line underneath them to make it easier for yourself! other than that your art is pretty descent it was difficult to tell characters apart at the begginning but i'm starting to recognise them now and they are starting to look more individual now, i think if you keep going the way you are, your art will improve quite quickly.
It looks like an interesting story too, i didnt think it was as slow paced as you made out but you may want to try adding strips together like Kohath Star suggested

all in all, it looks very promising!

I really don't have any time to ink and color everything. I'm still in high school doing college courses and have to maintain enough hours at my job to save up money for the rest of my education. The reason that they are slanted a bit is the way their scanned, and their cramped because I have to buy my own paper and I try to cut corners so I don't have to spend as much...
We are going to increase our update schedule...if I can pull it off. XD

All the suggestions are great, thank you for you input.

well it's not completley out of the question to sacrifice some of your update schedule just to spend a little more time on the comic, you dont have to bust a gut just to hit your self made update schedule if it means you can't spend a descent ammount of time on the comic, i'm confused as to how your scanner could have slanted the words but not the rest of the picture? but scanners are funny things, if you have problems with budgeting then you may want to consider downloading a free paint program such as GIMP it would mean that you wouldnt have to spend so much on supplies, i myself am a student living below the poverty line such as yourself and cannot afford to draw and paint everything, hence why i invested £50 on a graphics tablet and got a free copy of CS3 i now no longer have to spend so much on art supplies anymore you may want to consider doing the same if you are so set on becoming a professional artist and writer ( i understand that not all art is traditional) but if you want to become a professional you have to put in the extra effort

$50 tablet? O.O
I played with a tablet when I went to Ohayacon this past year...I actually met Katsu and she told me about this site...
and I downloaded GIMP but the controls are so wierd when I got used to photoshop and well I guess I could just cut down the update time...I could try coloring strips for mondays? Oh and I guess the speech is really just my bad handwriting. ^.^; I don't like text editing mixed with hand drawings because it looks so tacky...and I made sure to carefully go over all my words with pen so that they are readable. I'll try to write straighter...? (haha, linewriter XD)

no i agree with you, it looks better if the art matches the text it would look odd if just the text was photoshopped, colouring on mondays woiuld be a neat way to liven things up so people can see what colours your characters are meant to be (if you havent done a character sheet or the reader hasnt read them) I'm British so my tablet cost 50£ that would be roughly 75$ maybe? not too sure, but yeah i was wary of using photoshop CS3 but i got familiar with it pretty quickly, but like i saidthats just if you dont want to keep spending on supplies!

Hehe thats probably a god idea but I think he cheapest tablet I could get with a graphics program would cost me alot more than that. I think they said a cheap one was $150 or something but I could look into it.
If not I talked a an art teacher I know and I can buy supplies from him in discount bulks. He buys the bulks and I can buy an individual packag for 75% the cost.

Oh well thats useful if you can get cheap stuff from your art teacher, you dont have to go all out on agraphics tablet with an art program, you could probably download any version of phtotoshop off of Pirate bay

Yippee we've been going on for about a month now and we update M-F, but wednesdays are background and history/magic info, maybe some descriptions, things like that. It's whatever Koh wants to put up in relation to what is going on in the strip that week.
