Well, as she said, "This is going to scar." ;)

Hopefully it'll just help to intimidate the bad guys. They'll be like, "Whoa! A chick with a facial scar! I don't want one of those, so I best be careful."

And then they try some of that Jedi mind trick stuff, "These are not the bad guys you're looking for."

The vet is kind of a dichotomous (is that a real word?) character compared to Eden, who is very capable and action-oriented.

Love the new page!

Looks great, Taki! I can sense another action sequence around the corner. I can only hope that it involves a baseball bat with some nails in it. ;)

Awesome page, I'm curious how it fits into the larger story. Love the water color shading that you use!

i just found this comic today, and i also just read the whole thing. i do like how it has the feeling of somewhat vintage style comics, and the noir thing obviously strikes a chord with me. nice work. you've gained another reader!

There aren't too many comics where, when I read 1 or 2 pages, I'm compelled to go read the whole archive. But that's exactly what I just did.

You have your own art style but it reminds me of a black and white version of the Dazzler comic book from the 1980s (Frank Springer's pencils), but with waaaay better plot and dialogue than Dazzler ever had (and you have a style does not have the stiffness that Springer's did). The flashback's work, as do the art experimentations.
