hey guys, check out my comic if you have time... it's done in watercolors, and is historical fiction (takes place in 1990 in Lithuania.)

I'd like critique, especially, since I'm going to print this comic up once it's done!

Well, I do the pages pretty small; in fact I think the digitized page is bigger than my watercolor pad! So that makes it go faster (although it means I can't draw each eyelash... or other things of such fun detail.) This latest page took about 6 hours; I know because I did it in one sitting, which is rare. But it depends more on the complexity of the poses. This page was kind of hard to draw, what with the strangling and such, but it was the page before this one-- page 17-- that gave me lots of trouble DX I had to re-draw it... the painting part is time-consuming, but relatively effortless; if you want to know the secret *leans in conspiratorily* I start with a yellow wash and then put in cerulean blue around the eyes, neck, and in the folds of the clothing. Then when you go over it with the skin tone color, it kind of evens itself out! (at which point I sometimes dab on more cerulean, for good measure. My main character IS kind of ragged and tired all the time.)
