So here I am again to plug The Errant Apprentice .
In 1975 magic returned to the world and with it the creatures of myth and legend. To stand between man and myth a new order of knights has emerged. This is the story of Terry Lingal, the Errant Apprentice.

Please let me know what you think. Reviews, crits, thoughts, complaints, pretty much anything welcome.

*cracks knuckles*
Ahem.

The Errant Apprentice is one of those comics that you find, usually by chance, and can tell at first glance that it's destined for greatness. I can say the following with the utmost confidence: if you do not like "The Errant Apprentice", you are a dumbass.

The main hero, Terry, is INSTANTLY likeable in a way that most creators strive for...but usually comes up short(yours truly being one of them). Kota, however, makes it look like child's play to come up with a leading man that you can't help but adore. At first glance, he's your typical, naive hero...but with just enough quirks (his stomach problems are hilarious) to make him original, but not weird. The perfect blend of chivalry, naivete, and thick-headedness. The story's supporting cast is just as likeable, especially Delores, Terry's mage partner. Without giving too much away, if their first meeting will win you over to this comic...then you need to be shot in the face. Character interractions are natural and well-paced, you feel like you're actually witnessing a conversation between two real people. The writing, in general, is superb. A great mix of comedy and drama that makes you want to hold Kota's loved ones hostage until he updates more (Keep an eye on your mother, Kota...).

The artwork for Errant is amazing. It's clean, crisp, and draws you in. Kota's signature style lends itself well to both action and plot development. Pages of dialogue are just as attention-grabbing as pages of action. Action flows really well, and you're never confused about what's going on at any time. And, damn, but this guy can do backgrounds! His use of reference photos pays off BIGTIME...especially in his current chapter.

I could sit here and type all freaking day about why you should read this comic. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and get on board. You'll be glad you did.
