Slaughter U: Dark Zoey tells the story of Zoey Aarons, an undeclared Freshman at Slaughter University, an all-girls school, and her dark secret - Zoey is a killer.
Take the dark edge of Dexter, mix in the campiness of horror classics like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street, and place it in a surreal Sims University-type setting, and you have SUDZ. While there is humor and camp, the center of the story - Zoey and her evolution - are handled with a much darker, more realistic hand.
I have recently switched from color to black and white as I was not happy with my coloring, and the comic was looking too light and pastel for the subject matter. I update every Monday and Friday, right now, and will include a sample page for you to see what my style looks like:
