Well, I've been on here for two weeks, my comic has an all-spectacular six pages on it, which makes this largely a plug. Of course, if you can devine some good advice/crit/whatever from it from those six pages, be my guest. It's online for a reason.

And, um, I don't know how many people's bubbles I'll be bursting, but, no, there aren't going to be any lesbians.

I'm leaving that to my other comic.

So, basically, it's the classic "the knight saves the princess" routine, except the knight happens to be another princess. Of course, it goes a little more in-depth than that, considering it's my project for my Creative Writing class.

I would recommend not making your balloons opaque. Trust yourself enough and plan out your panels so that you have room for dialogue with solid balloons.

Otherwise, looks pretty groovy.

I have a love affair with transparent balloons, but since I'm starting on the second chapter (as well as finding out how to do them well enough in GIMP), I could try with various solid balloon styles... Though hopefully I'll find out what I want to do by December or I'll irritate my teacher with all this inconsistency.

And, I actually do plan out my panels; I do the text first before sketching everything else. But, regardless of where my text is in accordance to my art, I'll probably always be drawing behind those balloons...
