You're probably already familiar with the characters bio's already thanks to Timlight's Drunk Duck Speesheez: http://www.drunkduck.com/Speesheez/

If you aren't you should check it out there, or go straight to the Paint Heroes Comic itself with this link: http://www.drunkduck.com/Paint_Heroes/

Feel free to post your thoughts on the comic or plug your own comic here as well. To submit a hero/villain, use this link for information: http://www.drunkduck.com/community/view_topic.php?tid=30878&cid=236

Hmmm... well, I am not all the way through your comic yet, but I will throw out a few thoughts I've had so far. You're obviously drawing this on a computer, which isn't a style that I'm personally particularly fond of. You really shouldn't let that bother you though, because there are people out there who really are into a more minimalistic style, I'm just not one of them. ( I don't like Manga stuff either, so don't feel bad).
I'm also not sure why you resorted to the stereotype with Mint Julep of the slow-witted fiery tempered mangled speaking racist from the Deep South. I am from Louisiana and do have relatives like this, but it's kind of been played to death.
But the real reason that I am writing this critique instead of just dismissing your comic and never reading it again is the fact that I do think that the things that are wrong are outweighed by the things that are right. I think you have a solid feel for your characters with all their quirks and I think that , flowing through the warm, gooey hearty of your strip is a river of wit and finely honed sense of the absurd. You don't take yourself or what you're doing too seriously, and it shows. I think you're probably having a lot of fun doing what you're doing, and I think you should keep doing it. I, for one, intend to keep reading and see where you're going with all this.

Hope that helps.

The concept of Mint Julep or ANY of these other characters that appear in Paint Heroes, aren't my actual concepts/ideas. They're just sent to me from the forums to draw for the Paint Heroes comic so I can "re-interpret" how they would act around each other.

I agree though that the Southern Stereotype is well overplayed but like I said before, Mint Julep isn't actually my original character. Sobergoose (who hasn't actually posted a comment to the comic before) was the creator of Mint Julep, and he was the one for the Southern-Hero idea. I must admit though and take credit that it's my fault for Mint Juleps design. Since Sobergoose had not sent me a picture, I'm the one responsible for his stereotypical southern appearance.

Thanks for your critique thoguh RabbitMaster, and I'm welcome to more questions about the comic itself or any characters/(upcoming characters).

Umm..... I can't think of any good questions, except when are the newer characters coming, and are they in any special order?

All I can say is that they are coming soon...how soon? I can't really say, but soon. Most likely in the order they were submitted.
