So, basic summary of the story:
Prince Aimery was deeply in love with his dear Princess Lia, until one ominous day she was poisoned and killed. Vowing they would meet again, he had his wizard friend lock his sould away inside his darling's necklace, only to come out again when the necklace had reached the reincarnation of his dear Lia.
Thousands of years in the future, sixteen year old Loyal attends a boarding school, and lives a rather normal life. That is, until his mother sends him a necklace telling him to "give it to a girl he likes." To his surprise, this necklace is anything but normal, since when he put it on a charming prince came out of it! Prince Aimery has found the reincarnation of his long lost love--and it's a boy!
