Harkovast is a world of epic fantasy, which is being overrun by the Nameless armies of the West.
Already the war is escalating and heroes are coming forward to stem the evil tide that is threatening to engulf all nations.

The comic is hand drawn and coloured using pencils, giving it a really interesting look.

I wanted to start a new thread for Harkovast as the old one was becoming overly long and cluttered with update announcements (and I decided I could do a better introduction at the top).
Please let me know what you think and post your comments.
As I mentioned in the title, you should be advised the comic does contain some strong violence.

Compliment:

Y'all really outdid yourselves on the most recent page. Your wife has done a great job texturing the fur and armor of the samurai, and the lineart is crisper too. There's even texture on the tassel hanging from his sword hilt!

Criticism:

Rarely, the backgrounds seem disproportionate to the characters; here , for example, the figures in the background would have to stoop to enter the building they're beside.

I've been following this sporadically since your second thread. It seems that you're working on getting lots of exposure for your comic; I'll write a proper review for you if you can get a thread in the Comic Review section , if you want.

Bare in mind, in the top panel the central figure is the giant.
The other figures look about right to me.
The white building on our right has bushes in front of the door, so we cant see all of it.
Am I looking at the right bit?

I want to get reviewed but that requires at least 20 pages, so still a bit of a way to go there.

I'm talking about only the first panel, but specifically about the building on the left. There are some figures (some standing, some fallen) that appear too large to me for the door that they are near, though on the majority of other panels the perspective is quite good, so it's not an issue at all really...

I am up to 9 favourites and 2150 views in total (best day so far 200), so my comic is building momentum.
Another 6 pages and I will go and do some reviews and get myself onto the review list (oh no, I hope everyone does not start telling me its crap! argh!)
