I like F&V because it's one of those simple comics that doesn't need masterfully done artwork to tell a good joke. I'm not saying your stickmen aren't well drawn though, Crocty--please don't take it that way.... :o)

Crocty just keeps getting better and better with time--on the gags, the writing, and the timing. There's also a factor to F&V that I rarely seem to see in stickman comics: The characters have personalities. Frank seems to be the more cheerful one and Vinny the more pessimistic, cynical one. Maybe I am reading too much into it...but there it is.

The guys also have a wide array of facial expressions, which to me would be damned difficult to do with simple stick guys.

With time, I think F&V will just keep getting better and better (like I said, it already is).

That's my .02. Read it for a good laugh. It's a certain type of humour though--sometimes it can be subtle...sometimes quite random. If you like that sort of thing, check it out. I personally look forward to a new F&V page.

His story about them going on holiday really cracked me up too, BTW...

It's so much better, I think, than just "It's really good" or "It's funny." I mean those things are flattering, but usually an artist likes to know why you think their work is really good or really funny.

Looks like noone else is appreciating amazing stick figure comics...and Frank and Vinny...

I do crocty! F&V is one of the best stick figure comics ever not because of it's humor alone but because it drawn in a way that really makes you forget it's about two stick figures.

Most stick figure comics don't have nor rely on "art" to get their point across but F&V actually does. The facial expressions alone launch it ahead of the pack not to mention the "joke a day" humor that we often see with comics of it's genre, the only difference is that they actually work here. Every page has brought a smile to my face while some have caused me to collapse a lung. Not mine of course. But other peoples. I like to live.

The bottom line is this comic may be a part of a large genre but just like America 007 set a new standard for Sprite comics I believe that F&V can and has raised the bar and set a new standard for joke'a'day stick figure comics. Great work so far crocty and keep it up man.

I do have to agree with the other comments. While it is a basic stick figure comic, the writing is strong enough to keep it entertaining. It's silly, it's random, but at the same time it's not that LOLLLOLZored type of humor which simple comics are typically associated with. Keep it up!

F&V is one of the greatest stick figure comics out there, if not THE best one. I say this because of the characters themselves and its humor. The gags are great, and the characters are totally idiotic which makes the comics even better!

F&V actually have expressions that are clear and understandable. They don't have blank faces (except where for the one where Vinny loses his features) and that alone makes it awesome! You don't have to guess "I wonder what they're faces would look like if that happened." You can just tell and it helps in getting the point across.

So, Congrats to you Crocty! Keep up the great work. I hope to see much more awesomeness from you ^^

Aww, thanks Riz, I mean, I'm not great at drawing full human bodies, but I can draw their faces fine, so I might aswell make Frank and Vinny's heads rule.

awwwwh, who am I kidding?!?!? I have never drawn stick figures! I just wanted to be as cool as Crocty!
My Japanese wife and I share the same life moto, "simple is best"!
F&V is very simple and easy to look at, so it is one of the best comics I have read (besides mine...) here on Drunk Duck!!
Even for stick figures, one can NOT say F&V is too simple, as the character's expressions show what they are feeling, with out over use of speech bubbles.
