Like most people here, I have no shame :D

Ys, I do know how to work photoshop. But I like the style I get from working with paint.

For kick I put in real photos as backgrounds...

Mostly I just doodle all day and put those ideas into comics :D

I like the style. Seems to fit the tone very well. I'd definitely be interested in reading more. Great job!

I usually never do this but I figured if I want critique I should help out others who want it too XD So here goes:

I like your style and the simple yet awesome look you get from working on it with mspaint. If you're looking for something to improve I would suggest the backgrounds. Using real pictures in the back seem out of place and makes the environments seem kinda flat. If you did them in paint like the foreground I think it would look a lot prettier!

Have to say I do enjoy the art style. It reminds me of Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist from way back when on Comedy Central. I wouldn't suggest changing the overall feel too much--the realistic backgrounds vs the flat characters sort of adds to the charm. I mean, if you MSPainted the backgrounds, it'd become hard to tell foreground from background--I'd keep that aspect as-is.

What I would suggest is a little more variety in frames. Each panel has the characters sitting in the same positions, with only their facial expressions seeming to switch places. You could really gain alot from mobility, and it would help show that the look of the comics is for stylistic purposes, and not just laziness.

Overall, it's not bad so far.

I like your style a lot. It stands out so that if I see a page of your comic out of nowhere, I'll think it's probably your work.

Your title is really enticing! I really want to see more adventures of this character. (i.e. first meeting of new college "friends" for tabletop RP in the Dorm conference room. Spicy Cheetos will be provided.)

I like it a lot, I kinda liked how only her face changed, for anyone who has had a first day at a new school in a new city that tends to be what you do when you are sitting alone in the cafeteria. Can't wait to read more, keep up the good work!

I'm kinda late to the party but I wanted to say that I also enjoy your comic quite a bit. (Metal, Shea and Shroom reviewed.. quite an accomplishment!). The art is very cool and I love your expression work. Now, if you can clone yourself so we get updates twice as often, that would be perfect :)

Also, I would love to see what you do with photoshop... maybe another comic ? :D

Thanks,
AG

Aww thanks guys :D

Honestly, and this is something I'm not proud of, I try to keep it so I have to do as little as possible. But I am finding myself drifting to the point of actualy moving the figures around! >_< I'm getting better perhaps :P?

I really like the art as well (and mspaint? hell yeah. it's the poor man's work station, but it's charming!). I, however, get sort of put off by the humor... I'm not sure where you're going with the character, but I think she should be run through a Mary-Sue Litmus Tet. Just, to check her. I know it's a humorous comic, but sometimes the Mary-Sue like tendencies (or ANTI-Sue, which is basically the same thing) put me off and distracts me from the punchline
