Hey guys! I'm sort of new to this place, but not to webcomics! I've been working with my pal Raocow on this new comic called "Artificial Time XS " and I'm hoping you folks will check it out! Raocow, the artist, also did Another Artificial Time .
After a bit of deliberation, he decided to concentrate his main efforts on art and leave the writing to me: thus, we've created an innovative new method of working. He draws the art then gives it to me to add dialogue and narration. It's amazingly unpredictable, because neither side is really sure what will happen next, rather than the old writer-artist format where both sides, having a script, are totally aware of the comic's future. In our method, Raocow's art influences my writing, and my interpretations become the basis for his next pages!
Even though it's only been five pages, I'm having a lot of fun working on this, as is Raocow.
Check it out!
My second plug (it would be irresponsible of me to make two threads for plugging comics I'm working on) is for my personal creation, Hexagon Death Squad . I'm not a professional artist like Raocow is, but I make do on what I've learned over the years.
Hexagon Death Squad is a clandestine mercenary group, a band of six female assassins, each specializing in a unique type of sword and fighting style, who are paid to execute dissidents, criminals, and political enemies for an oppressive world police state, in an alternate present-day that has been profoundly altered by a nuclear war. To further its aims the world government has banned guns, forcing most commoners to refine long-forgotten techniques of melee fighting.
The world's setup is pretty much an excuse to have modern day people using swords on each other. The comic's story is pretty much an excuse to have attractive, stylish young women slicing people to pieces. But have a look-see at the writing and perhaps you'll find something a bit deeper.
I hope you'll like it!
