A bit cheesy comic, you might say. On top of always being beaten down by Ryan, now Mick has fallen in love with a girl. Quite the tragedy for the shy guy that he is. But THAT is not his biggest problem. There's... something else...

This is a fun episode, my favorite so far - with tricky riddles for my readers, even. Why don't YOU give it a try? :)

I made all the pages of my comic slightly bigger. They were 640 by 880 pixels before, now they're 770 by 1059.
I'm currently working on page 6, and I just realized the 640 by 880 just wouldn't do. Some minute details would be lost - and it annoyed the hell out of me. So I decided the page has to be bigger. 770 is the optimal width, I think. It will be convenient to read without scrolling sidewise even if you have your monitor set to 800x600 (I'm assuming there aren't many people out there who still use 640x480). The image seems more clear to me, and sharper, too. There's definitely more detail. I love it that way. The lettering got kinda huge, but it doesn't bother me all that much.
Hope ya'll enjoy :)

Brand new and still warm - another page of my comic.
http://www.drunkduck.com/A_Bit_Cheesy/index.php?p=272052
And so I've become one of those who'd rather sacrifice their sleep than be late with the comic update. Went to bed at 3AM, got up at 6 to go to work. Fun! :)
Hope you'll enjoy!

Sort of a bonus, but also a regular page, concluding Chapter 2. For those of you who've been waiting to see The Girl, here you go!
That's not all. The next page is coming Tuesday/Wednesday - since this one's a short read, I just feel I can't keep my readers waiting another two weeks.

A new page, and the beginning of a new chapter. There's romance, there's envy, there's despair - and last but not least: pretty colors! :)

It's amazing to me that a page which features almost no people (feet and a silhouette, sure) can be so dynamic and interesting. Your page focuses on the background (a butterfly on the window), and the shots from outside the building are very voyeuristic. I also love your coloring. Your water effects are very well done (and I'm a fan of water effects), however subtle.
Keep up the good work!

Love the rain effects by the rear taillight of the car, how the water picks up the color. Little things like that are what make a comic stand out from the rest!

Another kick ass page with the water / rain effects. I love the first panel, with the rain hitting the statue.
The colors on your characters don't seem to reflect the same style as your outdoor effects have been. Have you been doing this on purpose?

Depends what you mean. If it's about the characters being cel-shaded while I apply soft shading to pretty much everything else by now - it's partly out of convenience/laziness, because they're complex objects, so to speak, ergo difficult to shade. And I'm still learning that difficult skill. But mostly it's that I draw this comic sort of to look like stills from a cartoon - where the backgrounds are usually painted in a more or less realistic manner and the characters are... well... cartoons :)
If you mean the particular shade of yellow, which differs quite a bit from the golden color theme from the previous episode - I just like to experiment with colors, and in this one that shade of yellow brings fits better with the blue hues.
Hope that explained a bit?

A brand new page:
http://www.drunkduck.com/A_Bit_Cheesy/index.php?p=299969
The previous page left you with a shocking reveal and some sort of a cliffhanger. This one brings you...
- a yet bigger surprise!
- some laughs, hopefully :)
- an overload of cuteness!
- and, as always, pretty colors!
