I would REALLY appreciate it if someone would give me their two cents about the layout.

I'm still trying to hammer it out, but I'm to the point now where I need some feedback.

A very simple page, but tasteful, it has a nice, classic look and doesn't overdose on colour. I think maybe either playing with your link text colours or making nav buttons for your links would look good. To go with the style of the site, keep your nav buttons either in muted colours or B/W, don't make them too big or complex and they're look really nice. Maybe adding more pages, like a characters page, maybe a 'links' page or something would be good.
At the moment though, I'd say this is a beautifully straightforward page,it just needs a bit of decoration to make it more eye-catching.

Well, I've made a links page, and made a few buttons for the navigation bar on the homepage.

My next big project is going to be to redo the archive page to make it look a little more attractive.

I still feel like the homepage is missing something, but I'm not quite sure what exactly.
