Alright, I finally got around to putting all of the @$$hole! archives up on the Drunk Duck site. This comic is my first attempt at weekly comedy, and updates on Fridays. I'm almost done with the second story arc (over 50 pages posted already), so please check it out and let me know what you think.

Looks very good dude.

1. You make the text a little small sometimes. I didn't have too hard of a time reading it, but, you know, just wanted to put that one out there.

Questions for you on your two items:

1) The small text, are you referring to Susie's text in particular? Please provide an example, as the text should all be the same size throughout.

2) What do you mean by "clean up the comic?" You mean the content or the art?

Okay, I just wasn't sure about if there was a certain font or character's balloons that were always too small, or something.

As for the second one, I try to keep it cleaner (it started off a little more crude and mature), but it hasn't gone beyond a PG-13 rating as of yet. I'm trying to keep it appropriate for teens, which is really tough for me - I have a very dirty mind, and a very dark sense of humor. :P

@$$hole! finished off it's story arc about The Prisoner, but what's this? Susie now has to get a job? It seems that something funny may be around the corner, as a little evil demon girl is forced to enter the working world with the rest of us (well, some of us).

Part 1 of a 3 parter started today , with "Interview Techniques. Now, the funny thing is that these are actual techniques for interviewing - just with a little comedic twist.

I do not recommend attempting to kill the interviewer, by the way.... ;)

I really like the last few strips you've done, with Trevor preparing Suzie for her interview. It really is funny seeing how disconnected she is from the real world. This weeks strip is even kinda educational. Keep up the good work!

Yes! Thanks for the plug, buddy! I'm gonna be trying to update the comic more often starting next year, so it should be interesting to see how people react to that. Even though I don't get a lot of comments on the blog update portion, people are really responding to the comic in the comment posts - I wonder if this is common for most of the comics on here?

With the pre-interview questions over, it looks like Susie may be a little more than the interviewers can handle. Check out the last page of the Interview techniques .

@$$hole!'s "Fill in the Blank" page will draw to a close this week. Although I had scripted this page, I thought it could be fun for other people to fill in what the characters were saying. The best submitted script will get their text put onto the page this Friday (with a new @$$hole! going live on Saturday). Check it out, and be sure to comment. While you read Susie telling Trevor about her interview , ponder this one for a second and tell me what you think:

I want to try an experiment with this comic and test my prowess at updating not once, but three times per week. The trade off on this is that that the updates will be in black and white. The have this all make sense and not stand out too much, I will do a few exposition pages, and then go into a 38 page story arc that will last from February - March.

Your thoughts?

Missed an updated in here (the page went live, I just forgot to announce it):

The last color page for a little while is here , because...

...LAURA'S 21ST BIRTHDAY COMIC has started ! It'll update in black and white 3x per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) until finished. 40 pages total, so it should only last about 3 months. Then the color pages will continue, no problem!
