now i know i must have brought up torch 2 at least once if not it's a story in my head that's all you'll know till the real comic starts.

i am not pluging this comic because it is a test comic and only temporary, yes it is one page but that is because i do not want the story, joke, plot, or anything on that lines picked at, it's just here to see if the idea i have come up with is decent and if the cell shaded backgrounds work.

now i'm going to say this i have never in my life been able to keep a comic going for long unless it is a sprite comic. but this is not a sprite the idea is i used sims that i have posed in sim pose then stuck them on a blank background in photoshop then drew out the background entirely on the computer.

basicly i figured if i can't keep a drawn comic going, and sprites couldn't possible tell such a story with limited actions then why not put this sim pose program and my new found 3d skills to work. the result was a new style of comic with the copy and paste part of sprites and the angles poses and backgrounds of a drawn, sorta half and half kinda thing.

i've also found some benifits of this comic.

1. since my focus is for once off of the characters i can now work more on backgrounds that i don't do well.
2. since the torch 2 story is very extensive and alot goes on, my drawing skills will be tested alot and i will have to learn to draw and develop some scenes i wouldn't normally be able to make because of lack of posing skill when i'm drawing.

oh i have ADD which is the reason i can't finish more then 5 pages of a comic i start. but would you believe i have OCD. ^_^

also i've got a crap load of sims to make so the comic may not start for a while.

well there use to be a torch 1 it was origanally named the legend of torch burner, but when the second half came along the first one paled in comparision and some parts in the story didn't match up so it was removed completely then redone and is now just a bunch of flashbacks throught torch 2.

actually not the game itself it's actually a seperate program called sim pose where you can pose the character in any postion you want in any angle or distance you want, it's a really cool little program.

yeah i was not sure if lined backrounds would work with the sims so i tried using a no lines cell-shading technique now i might just use lines, i'm better with lines then no lines.

yeah the last one i was having trouble with, maybe axel is to low on the panel, but since this is a test comic it will be removed once the actual one starts so there will be no fixing but any crtique on here will be applied to the actual comic.

i hope the characters look like themselves i was looking at their pictures while i was making them, marluxia needs some longer hair though it's not suppose to be that short.

yeah i know a little about perspective but it's something i need to work on and i'm hoping this comic will help me with that.

No offence but I really didn't like the sims based 3d characters. The graphics on them looked really cheap. Although it may be acceptable in a game if youre seeing the characters a bazillion times on screen, I find it a bit inappropriate in a comic with a few panels where they should be looking as good as possible in each one

well i can't change the title looks like.

so new title is test comic for torch 2, since i cannot change my comic title either.

but anyway due to the overwelling amount of sims needed for the last comic idea, which is about 100 to 200 or more and the fact that i'm not to sure about people knowing what goes on in my head, things that picky people would not approve of, my idea of mixing worlds and changing backstories, and the odd parings i come up with, and the fact that i have 2 authors.

i'm not sure i want people running it into the ground, and destroying the one thing that keeps me somewhat happy.

so to that end the comic is now a sims comic type thing.

the sims will be mostly posed in sim pose unless i run into a funny situation on the sims and manage to catch a pic of it.
thank god i now don't have to rush to get some sims done, also my sims are not perfect some flaws i can't see to fix because of the program i use to make and map them other flaws such as the holes in narcs leg are the result of going through so much shit to make him perfect and i can't be arsed to fix till i've hand a long break.

just so you know who narc\narcore is in second comic he is the gray one facing xemnas' wrath.
